I have a Panasonic phone, it has a CallBlock feature. You can store 30 #. If one of them calls you, your phone will ring  once. The caller gets a busy signal and gets disconeccted! Works like a charm!
And does not cost anything, while your phone provider will charge you.

Some would be marketing crap for VISA. Couldn't even get a live person on the line. I'd like to seriously hunt these dogs down and cause them pain.

Got a call this morning in Burnaby, BC.  The display shows California, that's it.

Entered shoppers drugmart survery and got this call a few minutes later. Thank you shoppers drugmart for selling my information!

have been called several times re credit cards... have asked them to stop and still get calls. isn't there a fine if they don't remove you from their call list

just got a call., VISA / M/C saying I qualified for their hardship program and could settle my debt.  Definitely a scam... I hope noone gets taken.   Sad how the target the desparate (hardship)

They called said it was Julie calling about my mastercard and visa cards and an offer to blah blah blah I knew it was a scam as I dot have those cards!

Different cell providers do call blocking in different ways.  Contact your provider to see how it works on your system.

My provider - Verizon - charges for call blocking.  When I want to block a call I put the number in my contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring."  That doesn't stop the calls but it makes them easier to ignore.

Calgary, how do you put them on a blcoked call list?

They just called here, did not leave message! Put them on my "blocked  call" list!
