I've read some other reports, randomly.  I found one mentioning "spoofing" of calls and reporting a false number back to your caller ID.  I think this character must have figured this out and sends you to a disconnected #.  I alerted the Phone company for fraud, but this may even trouble them, if they care.  Color me ??? + irritated.  I may be getting them on a different 714 # now.  Give them 'ell if U get the chance.  In my opinion, breathers are perverts, period.

We just moved into our house last Saturday... had our phone hooked up with a brand new number on monday... they have called 36 times since monday! Its ridiculous!!

I posted my complaint ealier ( 30 minutes before)
I had a chance to talk with a female caller and following is brief description:
Tyron: Who are you Why calling me many times everyday?
Caller: I work "uninteeligeable Reach Out company. Is your electric bill exceeds $100 a month.
I am trying to help you to reduce your electric bill.
Tyron:I am not interested in and don't call me again and raised my voice
Caller: You are dramatic.
I received 4  more calls including one I am typing.
This is my conclusion: this caller is independent telemarketer whose clients are(is) "solar" company
I will find jurisdiction of the location and may file legal complaint.

I am receiving phone calls four or five times a day after I TOLD CALLER DO NOT CALL AGAIN.
I am a retired man with poor healthand it affect me great deal. What can I do.

I keep getting the same number call me. I have caller ID so I know everytime they call. However, when I pick up it automatically hangs up. I've never had the chance to cuss them out or give them a piece of my mind. When can I press *80, do I press it when the number is calling or after they call?

Just read Mustang's comment and the exact same thing is happening to me. I just pushed *80 and blocked the number, we'll see if it works. I was never able to identify this number untl I did the *80 function and it told me the number I'm blocking is the last number that called me, 7145672311. If I don't answer the phone when the person calls, it only rings 2x and then hangs up. I was wondering if it was some kind of automated crap until Mustang mentioned the woman's voice. I'm definitely annoyed.

I get calls from them 3 or 4 times a week: nothing, the classic breather call but no breathing.  

I've been calling the AT&T abuse #'s about this, but they want the police action trail.  I told them I might do that next.

But, I got the Billing people and told them about calling the number back and it is the NO LONGER IN SERVICE disconnect style message.  I told them to check for fraud, if I have a disconnected number making crank calls to me.

Then I got the last one today and yelled "ANSWER YOU PERVERT".  A small woman's voice came back and said "you're the pervert"; I replied, "NO, you call and never speak up; who are you?"  Click...

I'll do the police route next.

When I pickup, it did not say anything.
