Your callers are simply extortionists - do not pay them a dime.  Report them to the FTC - www.ftc.gov, the FBI - www.fbi.gov and your state's Attorney General - you can find your state AG at this site - www.naag.org.

Per the FDCPA - federal law - you should not pay any caller who refuses to mail - do not accept email or fax - proof you owe a debt and proof they can legally collect said debt.  Refusal to mail this documentation is a violation of federal law.  Also, debt is civil, not criminal, so no one is going to be arrested for defaulting on a loan.  Any caller who pressures you to pay "today" or by "x time" should immediately be suspect.

Called my work and my sister. Said they have a criminal summons to leave for me if I do not pay over $1000 by 5:30 pm central time today. One they can not tell others my so called business. Asked for my home number. When my sister told Ms Ventura she was not giving my number out. She said she would bring my sister into court if needed be..... bull sh*t...they can't do that.

A Mr. Forest Black calls and leave message that the sherif will be showing up at my job if I did not call by a certain time. I have told them to send me whatever paper work they need to and I have yet to receive anything. He also brings up my credit report and says that it seems that I don't pay any of my bills. He begins to laugh when I tell him that is none of his business and told me he will call again from the number 8558379962.

Received voice mail messages from Ms Coleman. Threatening  wage garnishment. Caller ID shows 307 223 4405 Titan Student C. However call back no on message states to call 855 837 9962. Also got recorded message from same no male voice saying urgent to call Regional credit solutions. If this was real it would show on my credit.

I have been getting calls from them as well, Mr. Smith is the one that calls. Says that I am gonna get my wages garnished as well as go to jail if I don't pay. Said that I took out a payday loan online! I am so glad I decided to look into this so called "company" before sending them any money. They should really be taken down!

Called Ohio Attorney General today... reported the following numbers 360-350-5921, 855-837-9962, 919-324-6569. They have called many extended family for a person none of us know. The Attorney General said to not engage the individuals - it is a scam... A creditor must provide proof of debt to you and if court actions are taken they must also produce documentation of the claim they state you have. Failure to do so results in dismissal of the case.
It is illegal to threaten actions toward you or family or friends. Keep you voice mail on what they say to you.. it can be used in court if they would ever try that.. the belief is they will not since a scam and they cannot present documents to support their claim of debt.
These people use social media for info.. so BEWARE of what you put out there. These people need to be stopped - THEY ARE PREDATORS!!!!!!

I received a voicemail today from this number telling me that if i don't call back by 4:30 today they will come to my work and serve me.  also legal action will be taken, a judgment against me and garnish my wages.  in the middle of the voicemail the man was cut off and music started playing then he came back on finishing his speech in his sturn voice.  ext 414 this is ridiculous!

Got a call from these jerks at my job the idiot said his name was Joe Washington ...Talking some crap about a old loan I got that I already have paid off.... not falling for none of these scams!! he called from number 855-837-9962 x 425....

Jeff Clayton - has called two of my references for a car loan and left messages saying to call him at 855-837-9962 ext 442. Claiming we have a legal problem with them. i called them back and left a message, but they continue to call others without calling me back. What's the deal? Is this a scam or a legitimate bill collector?

I got a voicemail on my cell phone today and a call at work from a Mrs. Coleman.  She said there was some lawsuit against me and that my wages would be garnished if I didnt call her back but she didnt even give me a name of the businesa or who was supposedly suing me.

Start with telling your parents.   Then get off this board and go do what 15 year olds do.  No one here is going to take you serious.

What the hell? I got 2 phone calls from this lady and a voicemail and this lady said her name was miss Sandra (no last name) and he was working on a case and to call her TODAY at 855-837-9962 extension 443 like what the hell am I supposed to do about this? Why would someone be looking into me? And she only said she wanted to talk to Katie, no last name or anything. This doesn't sound very professional or legal at all. She wouldn't give me a last name either. I looked it up online and it's a credit score thing and I don't have credit. I'm a kid like what do they want with me? I want to tell someone about this harassment.

That's a typical tactic of these thieves. They call thousands of numbers and claim the person they're calling owes money on a pay day load. Most have never even had such a loan and just hang up. But every once in a while, by random chance, they'll hit upon someone who has taken out a pay day load at some time in the past. This person is a prime target and the scammers will try to convince the victim to give them money, sometimes offering to "settle" the debt for much less than the original amount (for the obvious reason that the victim doesn't really owe them anything).

I have been receiving calls from Ms.Ventura for the last 3 weeks about a debt I owe and she has threatened to send my "file" to their investigator and I'll have to go to court. She's convincing, but PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THIS CRAP! Educate yourself on the FDCPA. This "collection agency" isn't complying and wouldn't have a leg to stand on if they took you to court. THIS IS A SCAM!!!

I received a message at my place of employment from Ms. Ventura as well on 6/26/13.

I keep getting harassing phone calls from this number.  FIrst, Ms. Ventura then Mr. Scott, who at first said his name was Mr. Clay.  Nasty and arrogant on the phone and trying to get information from me and others in my office.  They have no backup, no nothing.  I reported them already to the Sheriffs and local government officials.  They must be stopped.

I received a call yesterday 06-14-2013.  The number received on my cell fone was 919-324-6569.  A woman who says her name was investigator cooper but didn't say where she was calling from.  She stated there's a civil lawsuit; criminal charges; etc.  Need to contact within 48 hours toll free 855-837-9962 x443.  If no reply summons to work and home.  It sounds like the woman is reading off a script and keeps making mistakes.  And you can hear noises in the background as well.

Thank you for the additional info. They called me at my place of business saying that they had a summons. I think not. Now I can take care of them legally, and hopefully put them out of business.

They have changed the number calling in on and changed name--now trying to reach a hold of my friend.
The new number is 410-609-3199. They are giving a different toll free number as well. I did not keep message to provide. Its now a man calling not a woman.

These people have harassed me for months.  When they identify themselves they try to make it seem like they are your friend and are willing to help you.  I told them I did not know who they were. Then they threw some titles at me like Manager of claims and Vice president of a company that I could not understand and they would not repeat.  They told me I owed a payday loan and if I did not comply with their demands that a warrant would be issued to me at work and my wages would be garnished.  They gave the last four digits of my SSN (which was wrong), gave me a court date and if I did not cooperate I could lose my job.  I was laid off a month ago, have never had a payday loan and do not plan to ever get one.  They argued with me to the point that  I just hung up on them.  They called me right back and said that since they recorded me hanging up on them that a warrant was going to be served.  These people are liars and crooks and should be stopped.
