I was just contacted by this same person! (she wanted to buy my golf cart and pay an extra $500 in shipping, which I was then supposed to send to her "shipper" via Western Union). I smelled a rat, told her I was cancelling the PayPal invoice and reporting her to PayPal.
After sending her contact information to spoof@paypal.com.au, "Holly" was able to block my phone call attempts (a message comes on saying the number has been disconnected).

Craig's list scam, since CL revamped their email system now they can't get your direct mail to run their scam so they (scammers) resorted to texting. Hope they get pancreatic cancer and die a slooooooow death as a prelude of burning in hell

I have been receiving texts from this number wanting to purchase my sectional. Said he would pay through paypal and send a company to come pick it up, said it was a gift for his in laws. I don't trust this at all.

Received an e-mail referencing an automobile I have listed on Craigslist. e-mail says "Is your item still available for sale, text me on this number 714-584-9176" Seems is a SCAM as I read the notes left by others!

I got an email from 714-584-9176 regarding an expensive item I posted for sale on Craigslist, requesting that I text the number if my item was still available. I did not respond and in reading the above posts about this number, I am glad I didn't.

Tried to give me the sob story that he is out of the country but really wants to buy this vehicle to his son that lives in the US. He will pay via PayPal full asking amount. ALL BS!!!!!
Be careful of the scammers out there
