I have been recieving the same phone calls for 3 months now.  I actually pretended to be a customer and finally got some answers, but when i tried to research them I saw that the business name they gave me doesnt even exist.  I am becoming very frustrated with these ppl (they hung up on me 20+ times!).  So i'm trying to gather more info about them so i can file a report with the BBB.

I called the number back several times and asked the agents to remove my number from their calling list and was promptly hung up on.  I began asking for an agent/ supervisor and was hung up on twice.  I then switched methods and pretended to be a customer seeking their services.  I finally got through to a agent who gave me the company name "Northside Sevices" and the city and state of Doyle Florida.  I googled these and they don't even exist.  I happened upon this website and saw a previous post that said to call (800) 464-5446 I called them and they gave me this number to call:866-225-1956. The man that i spoke to said that he would resolve this and took my number and email address so that he could send me confirmation via email... it seems as though i may have a resolution, but if not i will be reporting this to the BBB.

They have called here several times with a prerecorded message.  Today I pressed "1" for the first time to speak with a representative with the intention of having my number taken off the list.  Some guy came on the line sounding like he was calling down contestants to be on the Price is Right.  When I told him I'd like to be taken off the list, all I got was a dial tone.
I wish I knew of a way to stop this.  It really does feel invasive to have these people ringing the phone at least once a week and hanging-up when presented with a reasonable request of not calling.

This is a call "concerning reducing your debt". I called the number several times to ask that they take my number off their list. They kept hanging up on me. I tried asking for an agent; they asked "how much debt do you have?" I said that I was actually requesting my phone number to be taken off their list - they hung up. I called & asked for their company name - they hung up.
Who are these people?

They keep calling my elderly relatives. They won't speak with you, just hang up on you.  They do not exist for all internet purposes and the call is from a Cellular line. Scam for sure.  Reported them to the FTC.

I get these calls about once per day. They use the same voice but call themselves Rachel Thomas, Ashley Taylor, Wendy Park and April Peterson.
I have called them back and demanded they remove my name but to no avail.

I received a call at 8:39am PST.  My voicemail picked up and Ashley left a debt consolidation message.  Tired of these calls (they have left several) I called 1-800-339-2520 which they left at 8:45 am.  No company name announced just music and then cut off when I asked for a supervisor.  I called back and asked for the agent.  Click.  Retrieved the 714- number from my caller ID and when I asked for Ashley they started asking for credit information.  Never did get Ashley (who appeared to speak English) and no one anwsering the phones had good English.

I had the same message as Bobby (posted just over an hour before me). I pressed '1' and asked the rep to remove my number. She said ok and ended the call.

How do I know that she didn't remove my number? She didn't verify the number, so I'm inclined to believe that she did not.

FWIW: Automated call centers, where the call is digitally generated and dialed, are supposed to have a 'zap' feature; in simpler terms that the call recipient should have the ability to 'zap' their number from the database when the system auto dials. You may access this function with either "*-0-*" or "0-#-0." I learned this trick from my first job (Yes, I telemarketed - I know....) when I asked why we had to hand dial. Albeit, it's never been 'perfect' but I rarely ever have to 'zap' a telemarketer twice!

Enjoy

This number has repeatedly called my elderly mother who lives in an assisted living center, demanding payment on her $6000 credit card bill... She has no credit cards, and futhermore, has no debt of any kind... Perhaps they are targeting her street address as a possible location of confused elderly folks to scam... (she does get things mixed up, but knows she owes nothing/ family takes care of $$$, so hangs up thankfully, but it does upset her even though she knows it's a scam...)

Called twice within five minutes. 1st time said I had 6000 dollars worth of credit card debt,(not true). I hung up.  5 minutes latter called again, and said push # 1 if you want to talk about your debt.  I didn't, and hung up.
