Yesterday and today I got calls from this number and no voicemail. It appears to be a Santa Anna number, but an unlisted land line. I don't know who it is.

No message left. If this truly is JC Penny optometrist, I told them last year to take me off their calling list. Obviously that doesn't work.

I've received several calls with no message.  I finally received a message this evening.  It was a voice recording for JC Penney Optical reminding me I hadn't made a purchase from them in over a year and recommending I schedule me or a family member for an eye exam.

The person who called asked for my son, who hasn't lived here for 2 years, and said they were calling on behalf of JCPenney optical.

I have received a few calls as well, no message.  But I did use JC Penney a few years ago.

I received this call also.  I, too, have obtained vision services from JC Penney over a year ago.  But for them to call and identify themselves as my vision plan has to be against some law.  I sell insurance, and I know there are strict laws regarding insurance regulation.  I'd like to find out who these people are, and report them.  If they are posing as a vision benefit plan, that is wrong.

They called again tonight.  I was with friends and wasn't going to give the call center girl the inquisition, but she did say she was calling on behalf of JC Penney Optometry.  I haven't been to a JC Penney optometrist in over 3 years, in Spokane, WA.  I asked her to remove my name from their list and that was that.

This numbers calls me about once a week, I never answer and they never leave a member. I happened again tonight 11/5 @7:23PM Pacific time.

Recieved call 7:50pm 11/5 no caller on other end, no recording, I had to hang up, to automatic disconnect.

Just got a call from this phone number.  I believe that its the second time that this number has called, and no message was left.

Same deal. Called it back and it said this is a call from your vision plan. I just started a  new job and haven't used any vision benefits yet so I shouldn't be getting any calls.

I just got a call from this same number. I didn't answer and they left no message. Immediately after I got the call, my husbands phone rings and it's the same number that called me. He didn't answer and again they left no message. We are on the DO NOT CALL Registry and we still get calls like this one.

I have gotten 2 calls from this #. I haven't answered either and no message was left.  People were saying it was regarding their vision plan. I have no vision insurance so it definately isn't regarding anything legitimate.

I am in Florida. Caller asked for my wife (by name), saying he was calling about her 'vision plan'. When my wife picked up the extention, the caller had already disconnected (he hung up the phone).

I am in Washington State and upon calling this Santa Ana landline back, I also received the message that this was my "vision plan" calling and they would call back.  I do not currently have vision insurance through my employer.  Be wary about this number until we find out who this phonecall is really from.  The only vision-thing I've done is I ordered a pair of glasses online for a friend from goggles4u.com, has anyone else?  Could that be the common link, or is this an all-out scammer?

I just got a call from this number and when I answered there was static on the line but no person. So I hung up.

Seems to be a trend.  Just got a call from this number, no message left.  I live in Florida, who would call me from California?

I just received a call fr this number as well. No message either.
I called it back and a recording says 'this was a call from your vision plan, we will call back later"  i have to check my benefits package to see if indeed my vision plan ( eye care) has an Orange County base office.

Me as well... No voicemail and I don't know anyone in the 714 area code (Santa Ana) either.  Plus the call came inbetween two calls from 800.684.8429 who've been calling me 5-7 times everyday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. everyday for 1-2 months now...  This must be illegal to be harrassed like this! And not one voicemail EVER.
