This number call me , the recording said, this is Bob, for the pass 2 years I have put extra 3000.00 in my pocket every month.......   please stop

I got a call, in fact I've had several calls from this number, but it is NOT Time Warner.  Perhaps Time Warner also uses  this as a telemarketing call number but the one I received is from a person living in Canada trying to expand his multilevel marketing business which has nothing to do with Time  Warner.  

Incorrect - you  do NOT have to update your information  annually unless it has changed and you want the new number(s) to be included.

Caller ID identifies this number as TruePower Solar. Interesting since I have moved and am on the Do Not Call list I have been getting tons of marketing calls, this being one of them.

The # is still in use. Just got a call from them today on my cell & ignored it. Now if they'd call my home phone I could block it myself. I don't trust the DNC registry.

I answered and it was a recorded message regarding changing my car insurance companies.

Called back and got a recording offering to quote car insurance

Time Warner promotions department calling to try to add services I don't want.

i just called the no back and it was a recording for Time Warner.  the no had been calling me twice a day for weeks... so i finally called back and it was a "thank you for calling Time Warner..."

Unknown number calls everyday

they asked my name, confirmed it and hung up.  affraid of getting scammed and identity theft

This is a Time Warner Cable outbound call center, trying to upsell existing customers to different sorts of bundles.  The good news is most phones will let you block this number, which would be useful, as it's a frequent source.  The bad news is the DNC-list rules permit companies who have a business relationship with you to make solicitation calls under the guise of "helping you understand the product".  Sucks huh?

Caller ID said CALIFORNIA.
I called them back; it's Time Warner promotional department.

Normally I would've blasted them for wake me up in the middle of the day (I work nights).
This phone is for emergency contact, so I require the ringer on during the day.

Instead was able to get a deal that reduced the cost of my Internet service, and upped the speed.
The only reason I was upset at the time, was because I had received 3 other calls on that same line today.

I get this call everyday for the past week. I chatted with a time warner rep who said he has no idea why i'm getting a call from the number and that my account is in good standing. He offered to block it from his end so I suggest ifyou are getting calls then ask Time WArner to block it if it's not legit.

It probably won't, because I just moved out of California to Michigan where TWC doesn't provide services.  I turned all my equipment in and my account was closed over a month ago.  I got a call from the same number today and looked it up to find this.  While I can't say that I know for sure it was TWC, it wouldn't surprise me, since I got mail from them once a week advertising and trying to entice me into taking their phone service along with my cable and internet, as well as suggestive selling it to me whenever I had to call in.

I saved it to "Pest 80" which shows up each time they call, so that I can ignore it.  If a caller can't leave me a name or message, they don't get a return call.

I called back and they say they are from Time Warner and I may be eligible for promotional on demand channels and I said I had all of them already....they put me on hold and never came back...SCAM, looking for any confidential info

Yes they do.  I have been late with my cable payment a couple of times, and they call and want you to pay right there on the phone -- credit or debit card or through your checking account.  The (not very) interesting thing here is that they called this evening, no one said anything, but I paid the bill by phone three days ago.  Oh yes, they also sent me a past due notice (sent out the day after they called me).  Time Warner is the worst.

Fake telemarketing/phishing scam.  Says Time Warner if you call them back, but it will put you on hold until the call is disconnected.

Filed my third complaint with the Do Not Call website this morning. . . .

This is Time Warner Cable. They are usually just calling to try and get to add services to your account.

Just add it to the blocked callers list. Whom ever it is, it is scandalous.

I have been receiving calls from this number for about a month now, every day and when I don't answer they never leave a message.  After reading the posts here I decided to call them back.  I called them back only minutes after they called me and the message said that this is Time Warner and the offices are closed to please call back.  I have time warner and am looking into getting satellite due to stuff like this.  Any number of their departments call and never leave a message.  The caller ID does not identify them.  This has been going on since I got the service years ago.  Hopefully after I fire them as my cable provider this will stop, but probably not.

yeah mine is autopay... so always up to date.  I get a call from this number once a week or so.

I actually don't answer calls I don't have added in my phonebook so I didn't answer this number but I did call it back the next morning and I got a recording from Time Warner saying "...this department is now closed."

So, according to all the other reports, I'm sure it is Time Warner calling about selling me on other services but not my bill because normally TW mails out a letter first.

No, it means that they are trying to add additional services such as a phone line, or internet. TWC does not call you requesting payment

I hope there is a special place in hell for whom ever is doing this.
