dumb operator

The standard message is "Hi, this is Rachel from Cardholder Services. There is no problem with your current credit card... If you would like to speak to an operator about lowering your interest rates, press 1 on your phone." Then, if you press "1" to tell someone to take you off their list, they will hang up on you. It has happened to me on my home phone and now my cell phone.

just got this call on my work cell.  these guys are right...some scammer.  i called it back and the vm sounded like a marine...telling me its a scam and i should report them, "hoorah!"

I got a call from 714-697-3204, and since I was on the phone with a friend I declined them and called back. When I called back it said the line was busy so I just searched the number online.

714-697-3204 keeps calling, with 'Rachel from Cardholder Services.'  I responded, 'Please do not call again' - of course it's just a machine on their side, but that's their problem - this should be enough for legally informing them to stop calling.

This is the fourth time they've called.

keep calling my prepaid phone. never given that number to anyone but family. obviously it's a crock...

These dirtbags have been calling for months with a different number each time.  They are spoofing the numbers.   It is always the same voice and message.  "Rachel from cardholder services"  F__ING theiving scammers!!!!!!!!!

I got a call on my cell phone from this same number, but luckily I wasn't available to answer it...  No message was left for me.  When I researched the number here, I found out from all of you folks what kind of call it was.  Thank you for informing me!

This is at least the 3rd call from these guys on my cell and several more on my home phone.  Effective immediately, I plan to have an air horn on hand.  The next time they call, they'll get an earful.

i didnt pick up..i called the number back and it said report this number it is aprank call.

Try writing a complaint to the FCC.  It may be a better road than the "do not call website" complaint button.

These guys are just b*****ds.  I wonder if there is any correlation with posting an ad on Craigslist as thats when I seemed to get a couple of these calls/texts.

Got the call on my 6 y/o's cell.  (It's her emergency phone - only tied into 3 numbers: mine, her mother's and her grandmother's.)  I called them back in order to rip them a new one and the recording on the other end said, "This number is not accepting calls at this time."

Got my new cell # a few months ago.  Keep getting calls from this #(714-697-3204).  I thought it was illegal to make spam, solicitor calls, etc. to a cell phone!  No one ever speaks, & when I called the # back, I got an error message that # is not a legal #.  If I change my #, I have to pay!

Calls my work cell phone all the time...annoying!

I am really sick of these calls. They always call when I am at school, so I don't know what they want but I want them to stop.

i live all the way across the US from there. how did they get my number?

They get your number with a machine that just dials and dials automatically. They don't even know what number they have called. I suspect what they are doing is just fishing for numbers that people answer. Then, they sell your number to other scammers. They can't possibly find some hayseed that falls for this waste of time!

they called my cell, wanted to lower my credit card to 6.9% interest. she hung up when I asked her which credit card company she worked for.

So i looked it up did a couple of reverse phone searches and it said the number was from santa ana california and it was a cellular number from blue licenses holding llc and it had the name age and address of the person but i had to pay to get it. I finally seen this link from searching the number and see that i am not alone! I am 24 year old and have 2 kids. I had credit cards when i was 18. I ruined my credit not too long after i got the credit cards. I have no clue how they got my number?! Its a brand new cell phone number that only family members and certain friends know. Ive only had this cell phone number about a month. People need to get a life and stop trying to scam others. I dont understand it!
