Knocked on my door, tried to sell me home repair, anything I wanted
made an appointment, then googled complaints against the company
and cancelled the appointment, now they're calling me and they said they wouldn't

These scumbags are relentless! They call me at least 10 times a week from various numbers, most of which are spoofed. This number is actually answered by them if you call it back, so let them know that you are on the DNC list and never to be called again! If you check their performance based on YELP listings, you will see just how "honest" they are!

Not sure what they are selling because I didn't answer.  However, I did not contact them to receive this call.

Clearview has done great work for me in the past, however since they do not advertise in the traditional ways they do have aggressive telemarketing. I have told them that rubs people the wrong way at times especially when they are on the DNC list. They do remove and obey the law as written. They still call me from time to time and its kind of annoying when they computer call and don't pay attention to when the phone is answered. I guess after 50 hang ups or no answers they get lazy.

Boiler room situation - no one spoke, but heard several other phone conversations in the back ground.

03/16/2013 10:46 AM. Caller ID said "Unknown name". The salesman identified the company as "Clearview", and offered to reduce my energy costs. When I said that I was on the Do Not Call list he said that they would not call me again.
Wiki calls says the number is registerd to "MPOWER Communications".

They call both my telephone lines intermittantly during a month, you answer and no one speaks.
This has been going on for at least 6 months I am aware of.
I guess they don't want to have integrity.

Why would anyone hire a company that calls numbers constantly over time.

I guess it is easy to buy a machine and let it annoy people.
I would think if they cared about what they are doing, they would stop with their random calls.

Yes, I received this call also, and I could hear the boiler room operation in the background-at noon on a Saturday.  Following another lead, the number 714-729-0680 gets you to "management".  I asked them to remove my number as I am on the Do-Not-Call (DNC) list.  The "manager" I spoke with assured me they "scrub" their info lists every 30 days per FTC requirements.  (I have been on the DNC list for over 4 years...).
