I have received a few text messages from this number.  I have threatened to report it as harassement.  It says something about being a home owner and paying your mortgage on time.  I AM NOT A HOME OWNER!  The number is based in California so I get messages at all hours of the evening.  It is extremely annoying!!!!

just got one today...it costs money to get these texts...and how did they get my number!

I just got this damn message too.  Two days after my wife signed up for the do not call block list.  Great help that was.

2nd week in a row I have received from this phone number. I am on the no call list and this is a private phone number they are texting.

I keep getting text from this number and another one with this message

1st one was pointing me to a website called loanmod-gov.org and the 2nd to depthelp55.com - both with the message "Homeownders, we can lower your mortgage payment by doing a Loan Modification. Late on payments OK. No equity OK. May we place give you a call?"  

I tried going on the Do Not Call registry but can't report for another 30 days or something... I don't even know if you can report text messages. But I don't even own a house or have any loans!!! This is starting to eat up my texts!

I just received the same thing on my private cell #.  Grrr!  The website address is fake as well.  I texted back to remove me from their list.  How do I complain to the government "do not call" people?

Received a text regarding mortgage payments too expensive; My cell is on the do not call list. I texted them back and told them that if I received any more texts or calls I would start legal proceedings.

I just received the text...

"Is your mortgage payment too expensive?  Our Loan Modification program can lower your payments immediately.  May we please give you a call?"

My response...

"No, you may not call me.  Take me off your text and call list.  If I receive any future communications from you I will start legal proceedings."

I don't know who they are (besides what I see on this site) or how they got my number, but I'm very irritated and feel almost violated.  This is absolutely ridiculous!

Text message asking if our mortgage payment is too high and if they can call us about it.  Hmmmm, YOU ALREADY DID!!! in the form of a text message which I have to pay for.  You have already stolen from me - why would I have any interest in doing ANY business with such a lowlife scammer.  My phone # has been on the Do Not Call list for over two years.  Our wonderful government has recently released cell phone information to telemarketers and these idiots figure they can use that as an excuse to harass us.  I am looking for any and all methods to harass them and make them wish they had never bought into such a stupid marketing ploy as to send text messages in mass.

So....Has anyone ever tried calling them?? I have messaged them telling them to F off multiple times and I just now tried to call them, the in box is full and it has no message just noises for the voice mail. I believe this is just some stupid person trying to get your money. I have called Verizon and had them block this number I suggest you all doing the same if your able to.

Same as above. Text message from this number to my unlisted cell that I only give out rarely. I do not need to consolidate a mortgage.

Second time I have rec'd a text from this number. Asking if I am paying too much for my mortgage.

Unsoliceted text message, on cell phone that is registered with Do Not Call list: Is your mortgage payment too expensive? Our Loan Modification program can lower your payments immediately. Got an unsolicited text from this number at 10:20 at NIGHT. Reported it because my number is on the do not call list and it DOES cover unwanted texts. The FCC?s ban covers messages sent to cell phones and pagers, if the message uses an Internet address that includes an Internet domain name (usually the part of the address after the individual or electronic mailbox name and the ?@? symbol). Mine included the website, loanmod-gov.net. I suspect they'll get a look at because they appear to be a government agency to deal with lowering mortgage payments. At least I hope so!
