How Do you blacklist their number?

You must be one of the losers that work for a collection agency.

This number called my cell phone today and I ignored it.  They did not leave a message so I googled the number and found this site.  I have been getting calls from 855-350-5492 for months.  I talked to a couple people in October and they were very threatening.  They wanted to make payment arrangements for a credit card to prevent me from getting sued.  They said if I wasn't willing to work with them, then they would garnish my wages for 50% of my earnings.  They said they had my SSN # and would find out where I worked. They made an "offer" to repay the debt but I didn't have the funds (thank goodness).  I was getting daily calls and they would leave an automated message.  Now the message is telling me my file is going to final settlement and they want my comments as a part of the file.  Now I can rest easy knowing this is a scam and will attemp to have both numbers blocked.

Got several calls from this number - IT IS A SCAM! Do not believe a word they say. Was extremely hard to understand due to the horrible English - Wouldn't tell me the company name - finally, after threatening me for quite some time and demanding personal info which I wouldnt give him until he told me why - did he tell me they were trying to collect on a debt from a payday loan from a company which I never got a loan from. I did apply for a payday loan online one time with another company which I received the loan from and immediately paid back. But anybody that has ever tried to apply to an online payday loan company knows that it is a HORRENDOUS and RISKY process to do so - which is probably how they got my info. You "click here" to apply for a loan and then you enter ALL your info thinking you are applying to one particular company - when you are done, other payday loan companies pop up or you are directed to a whole list of online payday loan outfits and you have to re-enter all your personal info again and again. Something REALLY needs to do done about this! It is a very deceiving practice.

They call me daily.  When I answer they ask for my Xgirlfriend.  I inform, again, that I do not associate with her any longer and that I don't know how to contact her other then the same phone number for her that they have (the one she wont answer).
They hang up.  And typically in about 30 mins they call again, this time from a different number (and that number will vary) and if I answer we have the same conversation.

If I do not answer, they never leave a message.

I feel fairly certain this has to do with a payday loan my X defaulted on.  But it has nothing to do with me and never did.  At this point I consider it to be nothing short of harassment.

Not to try and sound like an internet badass or anything, but this sort of silliness is how people end up getting their asskicked.  All it will take is constantly calling the wrong person over and over again and calling them a liar repeatedly.  Eventually someone will snap and with a little bit of effort it wouldn't take much to find out where they're actually calling from.

I have come in to work on two occasions now and found private information messages on a public telephone, I can never get a live person when i call this number back to stop the phone calls, they also have my cell, and the messages come in all weekend starting at 7:55 AM and ending at 9pm at night, I have no clue what debt they are talking about.

This number has been calling me non stop. I owe noone nothing and do not want these calls any longer

They want me to pay a bill from 13 years ago that was in my ex husbands name. I told them the statute of limitations was up they argued and said there was no such thing... I told them to send me something in the mail and they asked me what my address was.... Whatever!

Got a call from IAG or some sort stating that they were calling about pending litigation for a pay day loan. My fiance' called and they told her that because of FCC regulations they couldn't talk to her but said that it was about pending litigation in a township near me.  I got on the phone and they had me verify my information and said that they were going to sue me. They also said that I owe this pay day company over $1600 when the largest pay day loan I ever received was for $300.  They took they're payment directly out of my account and overdrew it several times and now they want more money.  When I was talking to this woman I heard a man in the background commenting on our conversation.  When I got upset and hung up on the woman a man called asking to talk to my fiance', which she promptly hung up.  I called back again and asked them to send me all the paperwork to prove I owe them money and the woman I was speaking to said she wanted to verify my information again and I also heard the same man in the background.  I told her that she already had all my information and that I wanted them to send me the paperwork.  She then put me on hold for several minutes, then the man came on the line and said that they don't have to send me anything that they would be seeing me in court and when I said that my attorney told me to ask for the paperwork he just said that my attorney should call them that he didn't have to deal with me then.  I have never received any letter from any collection company and if they want me to pay something I want it in writing.

The AIG company keeps  calling a pre-paid cell phone that belongs to my 7 year old son.  I have never had any dealings with the company.  I am sure that they are trying to reach someone else but they won't stop calling.

193 calls in a month. Always the same message, I've blacklisted them so that I no longer see when they call. Ridiculous.

The call me everyday as well trying to collect from a payday loan I had 4 years ago for 400.00 which was paid...  Said I needed to send them 3000.00  WTF  I dont think so, said they were going to have me arrested, told them I will be waiting so bring it on.   SCAM they have about 100 different numbers they call from, not lawyers just pieces of s***.

40 calls this week from these people yesterday.  Yes, 40.

I kept getting calls from this number as well.  I finally talked to the people.  They were collecting on a payday loan with PayDay One.  I told them I could not pay the debt at this time and that I would work it out directly with my debtor and to stop calling.  I then hung up and called PayDay One.  This debt is over 3 years old.  The lady at PayDay One was very nice and told me not to worry.  That the debt had been sold and that they could not sue me as they were not the original creditor and that as far as PayDay One is concerned my file was closed.  When  I looked back at the original loan and the number of times I did repay it, I found that they collected 5x times the amount I originally borrowed.  No wonder they closed my file.  I also did some research and found that there are laws that restrict the amount of money a payday loan site can collect and it is illegal to collect over the limits.

Someone from 716.200.4163 just called and left me some incomprehensible message about turning my file over to litigation unless I called them right back. I did not call them back, I just blocked this number. There is no "file" that they could possibly be calling about.

After a half dozen messages from them I called the number. live attendant answered and confirmed my phone number (did not ask for a name). She asked if I was "Jane Doe" and I informed her that I was not but I've owned the phone number for over 3 years. She stated that she would remove my number from her database but that the three credit reporting companies will still have my number listed on "Jane Doe's" credit reports, and that I should call all three and request my number to be removed. Person was very friendly and professional.

They have been calling me as well with the same message as above..  Dont know who they are or what they want but I am not sending them a dime.  I told the guy do what you need to do dumbass cause I am not giving you anything.  Just block them...

Got a call from them today. Recorded voice saying a full review is being done by one of their loss mitigation specifalists and was with their final review department.  I need to call the number back to have my personal statement included, if I don't their recommendation will be submitted without it.  Then it says the message is for Alejandro P and if I'm not that person then disregard. And gives a file number of 587525 and refers to some International Asset Group company.  Not calling them back.

don,t pay this place anything. contact a lawyer and sue them, it does not coust you anything,

got a call and they said that i wrote a check that was bad, they are crazy i have never wrote a check that was bad.they said that they were going to take mr to court, i said see you in court.they are scams.

This person calls from a collection agency of some sort from the bogus number. This is A company name is not given when you return the call back. The voice mail just states to press teh four digit extension. The person states that you had a debt that  is owed and not paid and legal actions will take place. I know this is not true because I don't owe any one and everything that comes in is regular monthly living expenses-which are current. Something needs to be done about this company. I am going to the phone company to see if I can file a complaint with them and the attorney general office, FBI-or anyone that is going to put an end to this nonsense

i keep getting the same number i wish i knew how to block them i work night and it keep calling me so please if some one knows how to block them let me no on my cell

Multiple calls and leave no message. Must be some telemarketer getting their "dials" in!

I got so tired of seeing this number on my cell phone that I finally answered to deal with whatever the issue was.

I had to listen to a recording about some sort of final opportunity to make a payment arrangement. When the automated voice said Press 1 to speak with a PERSON, I didn't hesitate.

A guy with a thick Spanish accent came on the line and asked how he could help. He was actually very pleasant.

I explained that I kept receiving a call from this number, but I am not the named person on the recording.

He apologized very humbly, and asked me if I wouldn't mind telling him my number so he could remove it from their system. I told him, and he apologized once more for the inconvenience, then explained it would take 24 hours to be removed from the system and please ignore any future calls from the number.

They called me one day every 30 minutes!! I work nights & this is not acceptable. I googled the number which led me to various sites telling me they are a collection agency. First, I just ran my credit report in April & know for a fact that this company and/or any Pay day type loan isn't on there. Second, the only loan I owe on is a student loan. Third, if these morons really want to get ahold of be that bad, they can send me something in the mail to verify this loan & it better be more than YOU owe X to Y. I blocked them on my cell so they really don't have a choice now do they but to mail me something :P  If I had to guess this is probably one of those companies that buys out of statute debts for pennies & tries to collect on them.

I keep getting daily and weekly calls from this number.  They call and do not say anything.  I stopped answering the calls.
