Called asking for info on deadbeat ex-SIL - rude person hung up when I said I had no information and never agreed to be her reference

I guess all collection agencies just assume everyone they speak to is lying and all people deserve to be treated like trash.

This is the second outfit calling for a Macolm Logan. Never heard of him, been receiving these calls for him for years.

Didn't answer, blocking number.

Collection Agency Gestapo Tactics, report them to the Federal Trade Commission http://ftc.gov/ and the Better Business Bureau in your area and your local Attorney Generals Office...
If they continue contact a local Lawyer Referral Service, whom will get them off you immediately, at a very reasonable rate.

Make no contact with these strokes, or they will attempt to twist it into some kind of negotiated settlement on your part, and start the statute of limitations clock all over again...

THey called my sis-in-law from this one and me from 716-206-2396, but left the number 866-916-5333 and that his name was Chris from the department of litigation. He left 2 different case#'s 1 on my machine and 1 with my sis in law. WHen i called back it was for the law offices of CCR & Associates.

They threatened me with a sending papers ahgainst me to my county court for a loan that I supposedly took out over the internet 3 years ago.

This number is from The Law Offices of Patrick Corvets (Not sure of spelling)
