I see that in the USA you suffer from the same problem we have in the UK. Liars who make false positive posts to try and make these scam companies look legit.  I assume that most people treat them with the contempt they deserve.

I have to say that after all the bad things that i have read about this company Mr Roma was helpful and also sent me all of the proper paper work to prove I owed them.  on top of that I owed over 1500 dollars and I was given a settlement of under 1000 so he saved me alot of money and my credit was updated as well.  Thank you for all your help

i just got a call at my job from this idiot...dont they know its illegal to call someone at their job..iv been scammed in the past and paid some money ..then i started checking online the phone numbers and fake names they use with false info....funny how they use scare tactics to make you fold and pay for something you never had...i have no debt or a single loan, credit card...i pay cash or money order for everything...dont let them fool ya people,,,its all B.S.

My daughter received a phone call today 11/5/13 and Mr. Alan Roma gave his number as 716-210-6204.  Panicked my daughter by telling her that she needed to pass on a message to me immediately that there will be a warrant out for my arrest and I will be jailed immediately for writing bad checks amounting to $1700.00 from my banking account 2 years ago..  Problem is that bank account was closed about 6 years ago due to a bank merger.  I knew right away that this had to be a fraudulent call.  I plugged this phone number into my search bar and found the call originated from N. Tonawanda NY....never lived in NY or had a loan from my previous bank as Mr. Alan Roma says that I did.   Guess if I weren't so careful I very easily could have called Mr. Roma back and made a payment deal with him....however, I'm smarter than the average blonde.   I'm a woman who doesn't appreciate being taken advantage of, so Mr. Roma you LOSE!!

I have received calls from Mr. Allen Roma from this number and 716-210-6217. THIS IS A SCAM PEOPLE!!! Do not under any circumstances negotiate with these people. Mr. Roma claimed I owed a payday loan from Loan.com and closed my bank account without paying. He stated it was a federal offense. After doing a lot of research on the phone numbers and address given by this company (1615 Pine Avenue, Niagra Falls NY) it is evident this is not legitimate. Multiple people have reported this address to be an abandoned building. I made the mistake of almost setting up a payment plan with these people before doing my research as I do have some outstanding debts. After I did not return their phone calls, Mr. Roma contacted me using a voice changing machine claiming to be David Mills from my local commissioner's office. He said he had received a case from P&R Associates and before he processed was giving me a call to settle with the company. I could tell it was Mr. Roma's voice has he has a distinct accent. I even told him I would be calling the office to confirm his identity. When I did, I was told there is no one by that name that worked there. I then had a friend call on my behalf to discuss this with Mr. Roma and he denied it was him that called. He was still very persistent that I owed this debt. I am in the process of filing a complaint with my local sheriff's office and will be doing other research as these people have all of my information! These scam artists are very good at making you fearful and seeming pretty legit. But if you do the research you will find out it is not so. I am at the point these days where I am willing to let someone serve me with papers before I give one cent to them if I am not certain it is a legitimate debt and that I am really paying it off with the right people.
