This number is part of a scam using the name of Cash America.  If you are here it probably means that you have received calls from them.  The most important thing is DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY and write down all the details and please contact the fraud dept for Cash America at 800-572-3577.

Thanks for your post Jim.  If you have not done so already please contact the FTC at 877-382-4357 and call Cash America at 800-572-3577, ask for their Fraud Department.

Cash America is a Legitimate company and they are aware of this fraud that is taking place in their name.  They need all the info they can get from as many people as possible.

Also report it to your local police.

I have received 7 calls today from this number and each time I answered I got a beep and then they hang up. I called back and it was about a loan I applied for, I have never applied for a loan and told them that, they hingup and me, I have received two more calls from this number later,

This number has called me 5 times today.   4 times they hung up when I answered, the fifth time they would not say who they were.

All of very pointed signs of a scam.  Don't give them any personal information,  just hang up.

This is a phone scam.  They posed as a loan company asking for fees to get loan.  I was a victim so beware.
