"Mr Smith" from Bonfigli and Young called and left a message both at my work and on my house phone stating that I have charges being brought up to me and that I have one opportunity to resolve this.  Since this is like the fourth or fifth time they have called and nothing has happened....hum...I am thinking it is yet another bogus zombie debt collector out of NEW YORK that doesn't have a leg to stand on except to utililize the phone to harass and try to intimidate with bogus language.  Doesn't work for me.  I am filing a complaint with the FTC and the State Attorney.  If they are a legitimate company, by law, they are suppose to follow up within 10 days with written notice of initial contact, documentation, so that you can do what you need to do.  Not just call and harrass on the phone.

This firm is great they treated me good they helped me out of a huge mess they even cutt my bill in half they saved me alot of money in the process you people dont know what your talking about just have to have patience

Called my cell phone and just sat on the phone them hung up!!!  STUPID!!!!!

I received a call from this number and they just sat on the phone and didn't say anything!!!  If they call again, it won't be very pleasant for them.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS LAW FIRM AND THEY EVEN CALLED MY JOB AND LEFT A MESSAGE ON THE VOICEMAIL. I DID RECEIVE A THREAT TO MAKE A PAYMENT OR ELSE. I TRIED CALLING THEM BACK AND AT THIS TIME, I CANNOT GET AN ANSWER. I DID A SEARCH ON THIS PHONE NUMBER AND NOTHING SHOWS ON WHITEPAGES.COM. SEEMS LIKE IF IT WAS A LEGIT LAW FIRM, THEY WOULD BE LISTED.

I have received 3 phone calls at my place of employment, from Lisa Carter with the "firm" of Bonfigilio & Young.  Stating that I have been named in a lawsuit.  I told her to quit calling me at work. Which she continued to talk over  me.  I hung up the phone, which she called right back and requested to be connected to my human resources division.  I wish that these junk debt collectors would understand that there is no longer any intimidation over the phone.  Send it in writing.  If it is legitimate it will be dealt with.  But phone calls don't work.  Don't they understand that over the phone intimidation doesnt work.  It is illegal and old.

My employer received about 10 calls from this same number all day yesterday and 716-242-7584.. When I answered the phone, there was only silence each time but I could hear breathing on the other end. Probably did not speak because it was not a residence. The Caller ID said "New York" caller. When I did a whitepages.com reverse check it says the number does not exist. Funny I wanted to dig further and sure enough, there are others receiving these calls. I live in Kentucky. What a pity that some USA businesses have come to scams and bogus companies to make a living in this cruel world. By the way, I work for a charitable organization that helps the homeless and poor. hmmm?

Receiving a call from Bonfiglio and Young stating they have a case with my name attached to it and they need me or my legal counsel to call and make a statement.  This is so Bogus!!!  I have investigated the other numbers they have used and this is reported to be a company called the Rochester Group and other people are being scammed and I keep reporting these people to the recommended authorities, but nothing happens.  Hard working older people like myself are very low on the totem pole.  But, I am going to keep reporting them to my State Atty General, the FTC, FDCPA, and the FBI.  I also want them to know in my State the fines for these types of calls are $10,000.00 and I will pursue them!!!
