I was called today by this number 716-250-4815 - they were looking for my neighbor - I don't even know those people so why the hell are they calling me!  Is this crap even legal....

we should organize a national call in day. everyone that is harassed by this company would all call in. all day long to put pressure on them. if anyones interested, post on here. we could do somethin if theres the will!

they called asking 4 someone but wouldnt say what it was regarding. they said they was redline & their number was 716-250-4815. they got my undivided attention so i tried to get some phone sex from them. talked to dolnova, john thuman, sam & jerry. they all sucked. none of them got me off. im gonna call em back with a magazine to help, ha

Redline called my home today, 3x now.  "It's very important that you call me back as soon as possible".  Yep, important to you...not me.  
I did not pick up the phone - because it's my damn phone and I don't have to!  
I don't want them to get their foot in the door. So I thought I'd patiently wait for my "Validation" intro letter.  I NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE FOR DEBT COLLECTORS, NOR SHOULD YOU...EVERYTHING IN WRITING!
However, they jumped right on the jugular and called a relative in another state right after the first call.
So, I'll wait for the 5 days, like a good do-bee - then IT'S ON!!!
And I am a mean, and now ticked off *****!!!  
I know how to deal with snakes...bring it!

I'd love for them to try and sue me.  G'head give it your best shot.  They still have to prove their case - they won't be able to, guaranteed.  Slimy bottom dwelling scum that they are.

These people called me to get a message to a neighbor yesterday.  They said that they thought my "neighbor" was being manipulated in a "business matter" and they needed to talk to him.  I asked how they got MY phone number?  They said they ran a check on the neighbor's ssn and got his address and looked up neighbor's (us) address/phone #.  This disturbed me...as my husband and I have cell phones only (unlisted#)and am still not sure how they got our number. The guy who called said he knew it sounded as though he was not giving me a lot of info., but this was a "federal matter" and that he couldn't give me any more info. I gave the message to the neighbor...because did not realize if it was important or not. I later called the # back on caller id to get a recorded message stating it was "Redline Recovery Services" which was a debt collection agency.  This REALLY disturbed me as even if my neighbor does have credit issues...this company should not be calling me about them.  We don't know them that well.  The guy who called me, told me his name was "Mr. Thomas" and gave me phone#716-250-4800, ext.4827, and also referenced a Case # for our neighbor to reference when he called back.  This place really sounds like a bunch of winners from what I am reading on the internet today.  How can this be legal?  They should be held accountable.

These people called a distant relative asking them to get a message to me.  They know I have my own phone because they have called me 4 times today.  I do not know what this is exactly, but I guarantee that even if it is a valid debt and I found a job I would never pay them until hell freezes over.   I'd wait a few years until the account is taken over by another company.  I'd declare bankruptcy first.  

What they are doing is illegal.

These people are calling my family and my husband's family!  My sister-in-law just called and said they wanted to talk to HER about my credit cards and a settlement!  Is this crap legal????

It appears they have come to the Chicago area. A Daniel Schuller was pounnding on my door and ringing the bell for about 10 minutes treeorizing a young family member who was instructed not to open the door for any strangers. She has been tramatized and is now afraid to be alone. These people are scum. I fear for their if they return to our home.

Talked to neighbor and told them they better make sure we call or they will be held responsible if we don't. Now they are fearful.

They called me about Norma Lopez, which doesn't live in my home. They should not call me about other people's debt.

Red Line told me to call them back today, if not me, my lawyer to discuss a personal matter. Ummm.... I don't think so!

I also wanted to note. that the other day this redline recovery 1-716-250-4800. called my house & my BF answered the phone, & the person on the other end said that if I didn't call them back that day, that they would call every neighbor around me. What kind of business is this, that is harressment. I did call back that day later in the day, & got put on hold, so I finally hung up after about 10 mins. I guess they did not want to talk to me to bad. I think I am going to turn them into the BBB.

They jumped on the debt buying frenzy a few years ago to cash in on the endless flow of cheap, purchased paper. Dispute anything/everything on credit reports, tape their calls, and go after them with the full force of the consumer law industry. They are not that strong, or won?t be as time goes on; this organization is too fat and thinks they are entrenched in an industry that is moving at warp speed. I would NOT pick Redline as a survivor in this game.

Just got a call from this company asking for one of my employees.  Guy on the phone was very snotty.  When I told him that my guys can't accept personal calls at work, he asked me to fax him a copy of our employee policy/handbook where it stated that.  
If this is a collections agency, harassing a business owner about an employee's personal matter isn't going to get you your money any quicker -- especially if said employee doesn't have a job because of a debt collector badgering the boss!  Not that I would fire someone because of something like this, but not everyone is as nice as I am ...

I got a message from this number asking me to give a message to call back at this number to a neighbor to return a call to the number 716-250-4815 a direct line for an Amanda Sachs. Amanda said that she had been unable to get through on the neighbor's line and she was hoping I would give the message to a neighber. I just looked back in my caller ID and it is from Redline Recovery services. I don't want to get involved in that activity. I think it was not appropriate for them to call me and ask me to give that message to a neighbor. Sleezy
