who knows who this phone number belongs to

Redline Recoveries in Getzville, NY : A woman called my mother & left the very same info. Stating that that have filed a case against her in her county. The message was very nasty & threatning. I called & spoke to a man at their office who, with absolutly no verification my identity, was very quick to spill my mothers address, last 4 of her SSN, company where the debt originated & amout owed. He also gave me the first & last name of both the woman who left the disgusting message & her supervisor. And then informed me that what she had stated in the message about the pending court case against my mother was a complete lie. For anyone else that this collection agency has contacted & informed that there is a court case filed in your county, please know that they have ABSOLUTLY no right to say this unless they are taking such actions. It is ILLEGAL in the state of New York. Get the persons name & any info from them that you can & REPORT THEM!!!!! Just because you are in debt does not mean that you have no rights!!!

-received call on ans.-service in SanDiego by man alleging name to be something like- 'Scott Eckers', saying he has my SS-number, and to call him back at the number shown here (Ha, if these scam-artists are trying to collect something from me, good luck, as i am age-73, dieing of cancer and 'judgement-proof' lost everything in Stock-market; --maybe he wants my ratty 1970/VW-Bug, or to loan me some money!!!)...

Calling threatening that there is a pendng case for me in my county. I have no idea who this company is.

whatever company this is it is calling everyone on my street even people i don't even know. the only person they haven't tried to call is me. they are giving personal info to other people.

Probably another debt collection firm out of the Buffalo, NY area. Unable to pinpoint which one.
