I got a call from this man twice within a space of an hour. The reason I decided to Google it was because the tone of his voice was very authoritative and threatening which actually caused me to doubt the authenticity of his claim of being an IRS officer. I sure am glad that people have reported this scam or else I might've also been caught up in the whirlwind.

Prank Call
I just got a voice mail message from this scumbag. Officer Jason Miller at 716-442-3057 may you eat s*** and die twice. I can't believe that people fall for this stuff. I guess it only takes one dope out of 1000 people to make Jason continue. The number is a landline in Akron NY. Must be a lot of scumbags in Akron. The local police didn't want to help me either.

Well these guys apparently hate being pranked back... I called them repeatedly doing the same thing to them, when I called they answered one time as "IRS" and another as "immigration" I called them so much that they took the phone off the hook and then just continued to pick up and hang up....

My father received a message from this number from some guy name Miller. The way he left the message was very disrespectful with his thick accent. Towards the end of the message he said that if my father does not return his call, he wishes him all the best when bad things will upon on him soon. So my parents were worried and I called the number back the next day. Some guy picked up. I told him that I am calling behalf of my father and what not. There were couple of things that made me suspicious of this call:

1. I was surprised at the fact that he didn't even bother asking for my name.
2. He continued telling me about the situation after I told him can you please give me a second while I pull out a pen and paper and find a quiet place.
3. He did not hesitate to tell me any of my father's personal situation without clarifying if I am his daughter and if I have my father's permission to talk about this.
4. He said that my father will get arrested in two hours, be in prison for 60 days, and his citizenship will be taken away and will be deported. Obviously, that made me worried. I asked if there is any way out. He first said no and then said he will talk to his supervisor or something to see if there is a way out. He took about a minute and responded back saying the only way out is to pay $3,864 within an hour.
-He had 3 conditions to pay him.
                   1. I will not be able to hang up the phone til I make the payment.
                   2. I am not allowed to talk to anyone about this situation.
                   3. I will physically have to go somewhere to make a payment, they don't take payments through the phone.
I asked him to give me time because I didn't have that much cash on me. He started to question me how much I have in my saving, if I had access to my father's account, if I had his debit card, and what not.
5. After saying no, he extended the hour to a day. I again told him that I am sorry I will not be able to come up with that amount. So I asked him NICELY if he could extend the date. He later said, "Look mam, you are trying to argue with an IRS officer, I have extended the date if tomorrow doesn't work well too bad, the cops will be arresting your dad soon." So I agreed to say yes to tomorrow even though I told him I don't know how will I arrange so much money within short period of time. He "suggested" I ask my friends, family members, or whoever to pay him. However, I will not be allowed to tell them about this situation, I will be able to tell them after making the payment.

So towards the end, the deal was that I will try to come up with that amount of money and call him today to follow further instruction to make the payment. I have been calling and calling leaving messages from my cell phone and home number, no one is responding. Luckily, I have decided to Google this number because nothing was clicking, and saw this site. I swear if this is a SCAM, this Mr. Miller will repent for wasting my time and causing so much hassle.

This personperson harassed my mother stating he was an officer from the IRS. He says to her "Get your bags ready, you are going to be deported. It's best you pay, otherwise it will cost you $35,000 + legal fees and jail time". So my mother informed my sister what the situation was, had her running around sending him$11,000 thru green dot money pack. We were victims, please be very careful. I wish the worst for this person.
