I have been recieving calls from this number for about 3 weeks now to help me clear up my debt. The first call, my fiance answered. They gave out ALL of my personal information to him without my authorization. They have asked me to provide them with a credit card number, to ask my friends and family to pay for my debts, and that they will freeze all of my bamk accounts until the debt is paid. They kept telling me that they would send the claim into my local courts. So I called my local courts and asked them what I should do, after explaining it to them. They recommended me call my local attourney generals office. I did so. The man I talked to on the phone said that they were just trying to scare me. He filed a claim against them. When I talked to this man from " R & L Capital " (Steven Scott) he said that he had every right to give my personal information out, that he would throw me in front of a judge. I explianed to him that without any authorization from me to give my information out is against the law and my privacy. He then got frustrated. I asked where they were located and he hung up on me. I don't believe anything that comes from this man, or the company!

I have gotten those calls as well.  They threatened to serve me at my job.  Can they do that?  I called and told them that I filed banckrupcy .  They hung up on me and stated they will see me in court and to make sure I bring my attorney .  Ca anyone tell me what my options are?

I get calls everyday i finally called them back and realized i have a debt with them. I forgot about this account so i did pay them. Yes the phone calls were annoying but i found a way to stop them i payed my bill. They do not continue to call me. They even said they will update the account on my credit report.

I have received many calls from Lombardi & Rossi, stating that they were going to go to my work and
serve papers. Or I should have received papers to be signed....I have not received anything.  Their comments are that they try and scare you ...One call I received they said they would be here within
48 hrs....no one showed up....then they follow up with other calls.  I have not called them back and
I don't think I will.  Judging from comments from other people they sound as though they are scammers.

I have been getting calls as well. When I got the call the first time I let it go though to voicemail.  The message didn't even state who they were calling for, but that legal action was being taken.  I assume it is the wrong number. They call everyday.  The latest message says that there was a package that had to be signed for and court dates quickly approaching?  I really didn't think they would spew out this type of mesage over a voice mail! Wow!

If all you scum bag f**gots who take out pay day loans paid em back like your supposed to - or stopped taking drugs or doing whatever else it is you f****ng do that put you in a position where you couldn't live another 2 weeks without and extr $200-$300 directly deposited into your account, then purposley closing the account like the scum bag you are. I have been getting phone calls from 855-208-7341 ,First guy said he was a processor and was going to serve me , but to first call the 855 number for a docket number so this wouldnt go to court, I said WHAT? Ok so I called, well some guy named Mr. Burello says that I am going to get my licence revoked for 18 months and go to jail for having electronic payments made previously and the account was closed now and thats illegal, also going to freeze my bank account, Than he calls my EX Husband of 10 years and tells him that the Police were looking for me for check fraud ( we arent even in the same state) and gave my Ex husband alot of personal information about me, I know this cause my Ex contacted my sister. SO I contacted an Attorney, I hired this legitimate Law Firm and I am sueing them , The Attorney said everything they are doing in Illegal and after enough law suits they will hid., close up shop and start another one, All of them are in Upstate New York! If you want to contact a Lawyer who does nothing but sue bad debt collector call consumerrightslawfirm.com I do not have to take their calls and when they call me I was told to call my attorney, LOG EVERY CALL and let my attorney know, I hope this helps everyone!

Called them back, asked for certified letter, assignment agreement and state bar assoc #. They said the attorneys were to busy to provide that info and hung up..Also spoke to an attorney, that happens to be a family member,  her response was, "Bring it on!" She had already heard of these scam artists and was hoping for an opportunity to give them an a** whooping!

Keep Calling and threatening me with legal action and fees on a third party debt they are collecting on. They will not provide proof in writing or give me the necessary information to prove that they are legit. What do I do?

@ DAN HOFFMAN, Do you work for these frauds?  I mean I supposedly should have been served these papers already and I have been waiting two weeks to go jail.  This is a scam pure and simple and more people should report these people.  They are rude and I have never heard of a process server scheduling time to come serve papers.  If you are not an employee of these scam artists than you are dumb as hell for giving them money.

good news. it worked! we all know it is a scam, just call and tell them they have the wrong number! give them the number, but let them say the name. then tell them it is not you. i hope i am not celebrating to soon, but i was getting a daily harassing from these morons, after i called and asked to have my number removed from their list, no more idiot calls. good luck to all of you! i hope some how this will shut them down, i hate to think of how many people they have already ripped off!  :-(

i called again and asked them to take my number off their list as i am not the person they are calling. which according to the 1st message they were looking for a jason franklin in ohio. i told her i was not jason franklin and i live on the west coast ( which i am not and which i do). she said i should not be getting any more calls. so give that a whirl. even if it is you they are scamming just say you are not that person. i will let you know if it works.

p.s. they do not know my name, do not know where i worked, do not even know where i live, but according to the messages they have all that. so people, no matter what they say, give them nothing! if they do have info on you do not let them know, then call the police! i have to say calling them back and giving it back to them, laughing, then hanging up while he was yelling sure felt good. they cannot take what they dish out! they better find a legal job!

got my daily message from 716-332-1658. called them back today just to tick them off. ya' know? it does not take much to tick them off. i asked them which story they were going to go with, the "call us or you will be served", or "to go over the papers i have already received"? wow. i thought the guy was going to have a heart attack. so i told him just serve the papers where i work or should i work off the papers you already served me, by the way, where did you serve the first papers, at my work place? i could not stand it anymore i broke down laughing because he was yelling, i mean yelling. wow! crazies!

This phone number 716-332-1658 has been calling me and left an 855 area code number to call them back with the message indicated that, call us at the number they left on my answering machine other wies GOOD LUCK to me....I knows that these peoples are trying to  get money from me. I had blocked the number and forwarded to the police

i was thinking if i finally do answer the numbers, i could use an air horn or maybe scream into the phone. oh wait. once i know it is these scammers i will bark like a dog. when they get angry i will keep barking as if in answer to their stupid statements. they have called and left 2 different messages and 2 completely different stories each time. i hope they are done calling me as i did not return either call, but if they do, i am barking my answers. crazy is as crazy does! LOL!

received this call today from a mark gallo of rossi and barney. check fraud case of some sort, i had a chance this one time to call them and settle before they filed a claim. never used my name and to return the call to 855-208-7341. the same number i wrote about last week. sad. how do we get rid of this scum of the earth. i feel bad if these losers would call some one who actually would call them back and give them personnel info. how do we stop these morons?

So I guess you worlk for this company and want to make yourselves seem real......NOT! Process servers do not give you a chance...they are paid to serve you...if not they do not serve they are not paid....To file legitamate lawsuits..they are required to give notice via a demand letter...give you the opportunity to respond or dispute their claim. All these sick people do is attempt to scare naive people and attempt to collect on fraudulent claims. Shame..shame....but then yiu have no shame....sick..sick

I didnt answer the call from this number because I never answer weird numbers. After I read the notes on here I called the number back and asked what the call was in regards to. He asked for my number so he could look up my case, I asked him to look it up under my name, his response "What difference does it make if we already have your number?" My response "Get a real job and stop harrassing people with your pathetic scams." He then told me to get a job and get my lazy a** off my couch watching Maury Povich. I told him I dont need a job because my husband makes more than his pathetic scam of a job and that I am sorry his wife has to work because he is an uneducated a**hole. :) He then told me he will see me in court!!?? I laughed and hung up. I think I am going to start harassing them like they harass me. See how much they like it. If they call you, call them back and start nice and pleasant. Play their game. Then curse them out. It made me feel 100% better.
