Event Reminder
This number called me today to remind me of a webinar I had signed up for.  I asked where he was physically calling from and he mentioned some place in Florida.  I told him I knew this number was someplace in Western New York (specifically Dansville, N.Y.) and he insisted he was in Florida.  That's all I know.

Okay, I don't know what it takes to get our so-called "government" FCC to do something about these calls but I am really getting fed up.  Finally answered a call from this number just because I had enough.  When I answered, silence.  Before anyone could say anything, I told the person I knew was on the line that I wanted the number called taken off their calling list.  His response was "Why?".  My response was because I had answered the phone and he had sat there like an idiot.  The next thing I heard was a click as he hung up.  Suits me.  How can any so-called company have a number that shows up on caller ID but if/when you try to call that number back (to, on my part, bless [and I don't mean in the Biblical sense] someone out) a recording is heard saying the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service.  These crooks are obviously more intelligent than the ones we've elected to be able to work through the system to be calling from a bad number so they can't be caught!

Okay, now I've vented and will proceed to file a complaint with the FCC as per their request and act like a good citizen who just wants to run a business and make a living so that my taxes can pay the salaries of the people in office who allow this to continue.
