This is a debt collector based out of Amherst, New York.  www.northviewrecovery.com   This is a very aggressive collection firm to say the least.  They called me regarding a debt for my wife and when I asked for a debt validation letter they put me on hold and then came back with a "supervisor" who started yelling at me, threatening to garnish my wages and sue me among other things.  I kindly informed him of his violations of the FDCPA and explained I would be sending them a formal request for validation via certified US mail return receipt.  I gather by their response to my initial request they do not have the necessary information to substantiate the debt.  We shall see.  I would recommend letting them go to voice mail.

A guy calls me from that number 716-418-8560 and says he's from a lawyer's firm  he wont give the name or address or phone number . he says he going to sue if you don't pay. then he  starts threating, slandering, name calling, accusing the person of credit card fraud, even yelling,  and demanding money , claiming its from an outstanding past bill that was never paid in 2007. He says he wants  to settle and work with you on the bill but says  the settlement wont be less than  65%  and must be paid in a limited time by a credit card only. they wont send a copy of the documents of the bill and claims that he sent many notices through the mail and you never responded. the mans final word is we are going to taken you to court and sue you then hangs up. BEWARE OF THIS CALLER FROM PHONE NUMER 716-418-8560

It's a lady and her Name is BOBBIE what she do is call your home and leave a threatening message that she is going to sue you if you do not call her back.
