I too have reccived. Many calls.. I was scared because they brought up a loan that I am paying off. And I was so scared I sent them the money... But now that I've looked them up no more. They sent me an email that looked real too...

Last week I received a call from Matthew Duncan from the Harbinger Processing Group saying that my SS number is attached to a file #....053 and if I want to avoid this damaging my credit I had to call back ASAP.  I had no idea what this was about and did not return the call.  2 days later they called my MOTHER-IN-LAW - looking for me - telling them that they have not been able to reach me and it was URGENT that I called them back... and referenced the same file number.  The day after that they called my MOTHER and pretty much said the same thing....although they said "we know you are her Mother-In-Law" so contact her immediately and make sure I call them ASAP.  The day after that I received a call from a Gil Gunderson at my home number - he said he was from the Harbinger Processing Group and referenced the same file number and that he has attempted several times to contact me and that if I didn't want to avoid future damaging fees I needed to contact him ASAP.  I am certainly not aware of any past debt......Has anyone else had this problem?????  Here are 2 of the numbers they called from....866-761-4043   and  716-245-7043.

I had this call too. Said my name and ss# came across his desk for a loan from cash yes. Said a lawsuit was pending against me..I did some research and Cash Yes cannot operate in the U.S. I had three different calls from 3 different people harassing me. I will turn it in to the attorney general's office.

This rude and nasty man called to harrass call my suppervisor call my hr department said he is going to sue I ask for something in writing hung the phone up his name is ted matthews and

Lemberg and Associates.... call them. They helped me stop it and it didnt cost me anything....

I have just received a final judgement on National Processing Group. I understand that is not their name now... Is there any other information that you can give me to help me collect this from them.  They were constandtly harrasing me at work and all of my family. They broke SEVERAL rules and laws and now they owe me.... any help would be greatly appriciated.

They were harassing me EVERY where including at both of my offices.  They do not follow the rules and stepped way out of line. I sued them and won?

Got a voicemail from Matthew Duncan, Harbinger Processing Group. Said my loser father had pending legal matters regarding a debt and wanted me to call him back. Number he called from was 716-245-7042. Did check of the number, found a bunch of red flags including this site, and then notified all my family members. They had already called and harassed my mother, who hasn't seen or spoken to my father in 25 years. I found independently that my dad has an active warrant for bad checks; and that most of these cases are somehow connected to bounced checks in repayment of a high-interest payday loan *cough*loansharks*cough* and identity theft. Beware, beware, beware.

Scammer used Mike James and said he was from Harbinser Processing Group and used number 716-261-2865 and was collecting money for a pay day loan. Company is a real legit company but number and Mike is not.

HOW CAN I STOP THIS MAN FROM CALLING MY PHONES AND EVERYONE ELSE IN MY FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wished I had seen or read this email sooner.  I had the same scenario happened to me on yesterday.  I felt for their scam and immediately wired them $95.00 and agreed to do so biweekly.  I asked for an email confirming verification of ageed payment plan and was informed that it had already being sent.  No email was received.  I called again and spoke with Ted Matthews who later trasferred my call to David O'Neal who stated email was sent and for me to check my spam folder.  I adviced him no email had been received.  He went on to say that another email would be send within 10 minutes.  No email received.    I will be contacting FBI and Better Business Bureau to find out if National Processing Group are legit and what to expect from this crooks.

I have also received a call from a matthew dunkan from the National Processing Group. Left me a message saying that my file came across his desk with my name and s.s # that was given on file and that he don't thank I am aware of what is happening. That be for a decision is made he needs to speek with me about my job, assets and cars I have. He then called family members asking questions about me. How he got these numbers to begain with is beyond me. I have been scamed by a payday loan scamer in the past and know this. you can't trust any body. How do I get these people to stop harassing me.

National processing group "Mike" is calling all my family, facebook friends, work and threating... how do I get this stopped.... I'm going to take some advise from the above notes... Thanks for your feedback.

a man left a message and said his name was Matthew Duncan with the National Processing Group. Said my file was put in fornt of him to do an assessment of all my preperty and assetts and was not confortable doing so until he spoke to me. It completely freaked me out because I have no idea why he would be doing this! He said I needed to call him asap before they froze all my assets and proceeded with legal action! I'm glad everyone posted on here so I could see who they really are before I call them back!

Some guy name dillan walker contacted me at work my supervisor said I was busy he called right back threaten my job he would send a summons to me and my job and I owe 1200.00 on a loan said I had till tonight a 9:00 pm to make arraignments and hung up the number he called from 7162612859 and what's funny it's a call center you can hear what the other person is saying and their real smart

This company has been calling and when I asked them for a mailing address they refused to give it to me saying they wanted to know what I was sending.  These jerks are horrible, and hang up when you tell them they have not right to harass you nor do they have a right to keep calling and demanding money.  They have the wrong person and if this continues, I will sue them......

This blog has been quite helpful this morning. I received a call from the ex mother-in-law of my daughter who had been contacted by a man at National Processing Group. He was trying to obtain information regarding my daughter. He wanted a telephone number, address, etc. Thankfully the ex mother-in-law and I have a great relationship so she called me to pass along the info. This man told her he was calling to let my daughter be aware a lawsuit was pending against her and he felt sure she knew nothing of this. He wanted to talk with her to bring her up to speed on what was going on. My daughter and ex son-in-law went through a horrendous divorce where bankruptcy was barely escaped. We know there are debts mutually incurred that have not and cannot be paid by just my daughter. As the ex son-in-law is disabled he is not able or willing to assist with the paying of any of these debts. Since all I had to go on was the name of the company that called I was able to do an internet search and found this blog. Now I know this is just another tactic by a credit collection agency. All I could say to these people, if I did lose what sense I have and call them back, would be "stand in line". With over $1,000,000 in medical bills, a house underwater on the loan, and a salvaged title for a car to drive, there is only so much you can do. Thank you everyone for allowing me to see that my daughter will never get this message to call anyone at National Processing Group.

My son got a call from 7162612774 from a Mike Anderson.  He stated the he took out a payday loan when in fact that he didn't.  He had a lot of personnal information of my son.  Why a cell number for National Processing Group out of CA and located in NY.

Same guy, Ted Matthews from National Processing.  Called my place of work, intimidated and bullied the staff because I had left for the day.  Told them that this was in regards to a complaint against me.  I placed fraud alerts on my accounts and looked up identity theft.  The FTC has a great website

After successfully blocking this number, they figured it out.

Filed ANOTHER complaint with F.T.C., not usless Do not call list. Also bitched to N.J. Attorney General.Next I'm calling my Congressman to followup on F.T.C. complaint.My guy is usually very helpful.

It's a debt collector.
BTW, it's illegal for a debt collector to contact a third party,in regards to someone elses debt.

Claims he is an attorney for the county I live in. I live in California and this is a New York number hmmm. And he has my case and it is going to pre-trial and I have been avoiding his calls and mail. He could take and attach my wages and anything in my name. And yes, his name is Ted Matthews. I will be be talking to my DA about this guy.

I got calls from this # at work, saying that he was just calling to get a fax # to verify employment??? why would he want to talk to me if all he needed was a fax# --  he was really rude and hateful with me--- he cont to say that  i took out a loan at cash jar- online payday loan- tried to explain that i never got a loan on line and he gave me my ssn and dob and gave me my email address-- explained to him that i havnt had that email in over a year- he said that it was on my facebook- ed him yes i have it on my facebook and that the facebook was set up with that email long time ago-- gave me the name of the bank that was supposedly used- havent had that bank account in almost 2 yrs and how could i use that account when it has been closed- tried to threaten me that he could suspend my drivers lic and garish my paycheck.. He tried to get me to make arrangements- told me to stop calling me at work- the called the next day on my day off and tried to get my coworker to give him my personal cell phone number and threated her as well.. this company needs to be stopped- they cant go around and threating people and harrasing people...

Ted Matthews is most likely a creditor, based off of the voicemail he left on my phone.

Ted Matthews called looking for Sharon Gordon. But asked for me!! He had my name and cell number. Told him I don't know her. But now I come to think of it and I am friends with her on facebook. So my guess is that this guy is getting info from Facebook!!! Make sure you privatize your info on Facebook!!
