I never pick up this number. But someone keeps calling.

They are calling several times a week.  A recording says something like this "This is a call for E..... F.....
If you are not her, please hang up. If you listen to the message, you are acknowledging you are E.....F...."
I hang up at that point, since I am not her, nor does she live here, but they keep calling with the same message.  I'm going to block the number, but I have a feeling they will just use another one.

Called yesterday left a message saying that he was from Chase and that they needed some personal information. I don't bank with Chase

Called my cell at work a few days after they tried my work phone looking for Robert. My name's not even close to Robert. How the F did they get my cell number...

I've gotten a few calls from "people" like this.  They must buy a phone list from somewhere, as they keep calling my cell phone, which to my knowledge isn't in a public directory.  I wish they'd call the real person they're trying to scam and not just everybody with the same last name who might live in the area.  I'm sick of hearing them say the person they're trying to reach put me down as a contact and pestering me if I know them or not.  My standard reply is I'm an only child and I've had this number for over 10 years and that their call has made me worried my identity has been stolen.  Bi****s reply to the last part was I can check my credit statement to see if my id has been stolen, LOL.  What whankers.  I'm sure she really didn't take my number off their list and probably marked it as a potential retry.  I just added their number to my block list along with all the rest.  Try again next time a-holes!!!

Debt collector named Capital Management. Called about a Chase card debt I owed. I did give a little false info about my income, but they worked with me and I got a low monthly payment. English speaking Americans was a plus and I gladly did business with them. I hope to get these debts paid so I stop getting calls.

I keep getting calls from these idiots as well. I just ignore them and let them go to VM and then automatically erase their message if they leave one. We will see how long they keep that up. Im not even the person they are looking for on the message. And get this, each message they have left has been for a different person. apparently a lot of different people have the same number.

A woman called me at 10pm, saying she is from Chase. I told her I live  in Canada, we don't have Chase here. She continued to harrass me, wanting my FULL name. I just hung up on her.

The last couple of days I have been getting calls from this number .They do leave a message.Since I cannot understand what they are saying. I wll not return the call.

This guy has been calling my house for the past week. My wife finally called the number to them to stop calling. The rude a** was asking for my ex-wife of 15 plus years ago. From the information I can see this number is from the NY area. I think this a** needs a lesson in manners. If he persists with his harrassing phone calls he will get one.

Left a message asking for a person that I don't know.  Left a name and number to contact but when I called back I kept getting a busy signal.  "Unknown caller" on caller ID.

Received call on cell phone regarding alledged collection.  I never use cell phone for credit and cell phone voice mail answers with the name they used.  If you recevied this call from "Joe Gracie" don't waste your time calling them back.

Called here asking for someone with the same last name.
They look in the phone book and call people with the same last name hoping to find someone.
Looks like desperation to me.

These Idiots keep calling my number looking for who must have been the previous owner of my phone number. When I tell them they have the wrong person, and ask that they remove my number from that debt, it just triggers a flood of calls. I've given up on getting them to stop and am now forced to consider changing my Phone number again!

Whoever or Whatever Capitol Management Services is, I'm sure there's a special ring of hell just for them.

I recvd a call from Man asking for me in my madien name at my job. I ask him not to call my job he said he will continue until i ask pay him. what can i do?

Some a***ole called looking for me but refused to tell me the reason for the call. He then went on and proceeded to tell me that he was a lawyer and that if i did not pay up that he was going to see me in court. He even told me the county where i lived. What I found strannge other then he was rude and most likely not a lawyer was that his company was going to send his a** down from Buffalo NY to take me to court. First off the charge he was referring to has already been written off and well over 7 years old. It would cost them more to send this do***e bag down here then they were trying to collect.

Why do they lie so much. This is not the first time someone from this number called me and made the same threats. So far I have never been summoned to court

I received a call from these idiots as well. They had also called under a number that came up as Capital Management (716-871-9050) When I told them that my brother, who just recently had his identity stolen, was in fact not reachable from this number, and that their best bet for getting a hold of him would be to call him directly, the guy got all pissed off and started calling me a liar and a few other choice words that I'll spare you from here.
When I hung up on him, he then proceeded to call me every 30 seconds and scream profanities at me, this went on until I tired of the game.(41 calls in 15 minutes) I told him that if he did not desist I would file harassment charges against both him and his company for violating the FDCPA.  
They've yet to call back. Which pleases me, as I'm really not the droid they're looking for.

Have been calling my house at 6:45 AM. Now they are calling my relatives too. Isn't this against the law???

Now, 2008, these people are recently reporting on my credit report a judgment against me from 2004 for a 1999 debt.   Not all the credit bureaus mind you are reporting this, just one, Trans Union, who I constantly have difficulty with in reporting inaccurate information.
There sister company, LVNV Funding, reported negative information on my credit report for eight years until I finally filed a consumer complaint.
Theirs came off, CMS showed up as a judgment!!
Fact - there was a court case in 2004. I was there, they were not. Guess they decided not to show when I made my intentions clear I would be present in the court room. Case was dismissed.
Now I have a mortgage in jeopardy thanks to these jokers

called this number asking for my father who I have not lived with for 10 years. I didn't answer it. Hope they never call again.
