Has called a few times over the past few months. Never leave a message and calls are always in evenings or weekends. I'm not a UB alumn but my alma mater does/did the same thing (having current students call on evenings/weekends to ask for donations and/or to update contact and personal information).

was getting tons of calls from 716-645 numbers. Hadn't picked up or received a voicemail until today from 716-645-4641 -- it was just UB calling to say they had seen my resume on BullsEye and that I was welcome to Career Services if I wanted it reviewed. I'm sure the other 645- numbers are all from UB, as well. They call almost once a day. So annoying!

I'm a grad student at UB, but I receive alumni mail all the time from UB so I think I may be listed as an alumni for some reason. I just received a phone call from this number and when I called back, it was busy. At least I know now just to ignore it when I see it. Thanks for the posts everyone!

Today, I missed a call from 716 645 3114. When I called back, I got busy ringing.

Yes I am an alumni and get the phonecalls frequently.  How do you stop this?

I believe this is some University at Buffalo alumni group that is constantly calling to "update their information."  They never leave a message but we often get UB alumni people calling with the same questions over and over and they disregard our request to not be called.

I too am getting calls and I just graduated from UB over the winter.
Phone calls are mainly on weekends.

Recently Graduated UB alum got phone call from this number 8pm at night 3 days in a row now, it fails as soon as I pick up no message if I let it go

I received a call from this number 716-645-3124 a few times these past few days.  I called UB police, and filed a complaint.  They will call me in a day or two and investigate.

got a call from this number and called it back. some kid answered saying its an automated computer calling seniors about to graduate if they'd like to place a donation. im sure it could be alumni as well. I'm pretty sure this affects only recent alumni and seniors

I received a call from this number as well. When I answered I heard noise in the background and then a hang up.

Repeatedly calling evenings and weekends since December 2009 ... When picked up, there is silence and then a hang up.  If call is returned, the phone repeatedly is busy.  

Phone number 716-645-3124 when googled turns up the office of Michael Dupre, Assistant Vice President / Associate Vice President for University Facilities, SUNY Buffalo (University of Buffalo, NY).  When contacted by email with information about phone calls, he did respond, saying that he would report it to University Police.  Most recent call: 2/10/10, 7:03 pm EST - I reported reported this directly to Campus Police at the University of Buffalo.  They are working on it, and also recommended I attempt to get the phone company to trace the calls.  "Never give up" is my motto!

(Other calls received from various numbers in 716:  716-645-3362;  716-645-6952; 716-645-3114; 716-645-6677; 716-645-3189.  All this within a 14-day period.)
