These sick b*****ds called me and asked if they could skull-f*** my wife.  Also they wanted donations for UB. He is coming over next Friday.

I'm creeped out, just got the call. Not okay.

It is a fund raising call center that is located on but not operated by the university itself. It is not a data breach, prank call, or scam, it is just annoying

I am also a former UB student. I continuously receive calls from this number at all hours. When I try to call back it is busy. It is obvious that UB is on notice that they have a had a data security breach. UB owes it to students and alumni to conduct a full investigation and to send breach notification to affected individuals. Pretending this did not happen is unacceptable and it may also be in violation of their obligations under the law.

Receiving calls from strangers is disturbing and unsettling and UB should take action.

yes I have gotten calls from this number and others just like it several times a day.  I have never answered but they keep calling and never leave a voicemail.  I also went to UB.  I have gotten calls from 7 or 8 different numbers all starting with 645 and it seems as I keep looking them up they are all from the same source!

They called and hung up.  After reading posts, there is definitely a connection to University of Buffalo, as my husband went there.

I am a current student at UB and these PRANKSTERS called my MOTHER....ON HER CELL PHONE!! The call IS from the University line (645) She called back and there is no voicemail, just kept ringing and ringing. PRANKSTERS.

received a call from them around 8pm est, knew my name and occupation? didnt give out any info about themselves besides they were representing "UB", told them i wasnt interested in donating and they hung up on me. sketchy

received a call last evening around 730pm to my cell phone, no voice message left.

Received a call from this number and when we answered they hung up. When we went to anywho.com no information was available on this phone number. Sketchy thing is both the hubby and I went to UB. Was there a security breach?

Received a call from this # last night at 8:30pm, woman on the other line claimed to be from The University of Buffalo human resources dept. asking personal information & then a $250 donation to the university.  We declined.  Husband went to UB & headed directly to HR, told them of suspicious call & was in return told it was a SCAM!!!  Do not let whom ever is calling from this # get any information from you.  I now have a security company coming to my home to install a security system.  These sicko's obtained personal information from an outside source to the point that they knew what my husband's profession is.  Beware of 716-645-6677!!!
