I got the same message from a guy saying he is officer (couldn't understand his name) He had a heavy accent and said my ss#, name and address was under investigation.
I wish these calls would stop.  I am really sick and tired of all of this crap!

I have gotten 4 calls now from this person saying he is officer Bruce Johnson. He states that my ssn is on hold and my address is under investigation. The address they have for me is old and I haven't lived there for some time now. They call me twice in a row. Since I don't answer they think if they call me back after the first time I'm going to answer the second time. The person that calls has a heavy accent. Do they not realize impersonating and officer is against the law. I don't answer the calls. They have to be stopped.

Received a message from 716-795-2158, an Officer David Clark saying that there was a hold on my SSN and they were investigating my address. The caller had a really thick Indian accent. I tried calling back and all I got was his voice mail (which was full). Scared the beegeebie's out of me! I called our local police department and reported them. An officer came, listened to the message (we saved it) and took a report.

Got a call today from 716-795-2158...thick indian accent.  He gave me a case number and actually gave me this number as the number he was calling from.  He said he was calling from Cash Net USA for a loan i took out in August 2009.  I never took out a loan in 2009.  I tried to get to the bottom of it from him but as I was hanging up which he tried to prevent me from doing he asked if I was married...then he said he was my husband.  Please somebody stop this guy.

Got a call while I was basting my turkey LOL   Heavy accent, said there was a lawsuit for a Quick Cash Advance Loan.  Told him I have never gotten a loan in my life!  He kept on until I told him to put somone
on that I could understand, then he gave me this number and said he needed a call back. I googled the
number and never called back.  Has to be a way to do something with these people!

Got a call from this same tel. #, from a person with a heavy Indian accent, who, although he said his name was Ofcr. Joseph Nichols, was obviously the same person as your calls from Ofcr. Franklin.  He also told me there was a lawsuit filed against my lien and my SSN was on a roll....(Not understandable). I did not and don't intend to call him back.

If/when he calls back, calmly tell him that you are recording your conversation and the tape will be turned into the police for harrassment and illegal threats.

There is no lawsuit, they cannot arrest you for a debt - there hasnt been a person in jail in the US for debt since like the Civil War or something. Basically, its a scam and you can tell them so if they havent already hung up on you.


And if they call again after that, just answer "[your county] police department, how may I direct your call?". Doubt you'll get any more calls after that one.

I got a call from this guy with a heavy indian accent today-he said a lawsuit was filed against me for a pay day loan I took out& never paid back-thing is, I've never taken out a payday loan. Told me I could settle this now for $398,otherwise I would be going to jail

This guy called and said my ssn is under investigation and so is my residence.
There has been a lawsuit filed etc. I did not call him back. He is asking for a call back. He had a real heavy accent and I had to listen to the message a few times to even understand it.
