Got a call, said I signed up to win a trip between September and December 2013 at a department store.  I can honestly say that I did no such thing which I informed the caller of.  In either case he continued to tell me the great things I had won, I then hung up.

He first call came on number 7168036631, he started to make his pitch and then hung up.  A second call came from 0000000000 (same guy) which is when he made his full pitch.

Called did not leave a message.

Saw a missed call, do not recognize the number so I Googled it and ended up here. They did not leave a message.

Funny I didn't answer but tried to call back a minute later and it told me the number was no longer in service.

Believe me! When it comes to un-known callers, there IS no one from Buffalo, NY that you want to know! That part of NY is the scam & fraud capital of the entire known universe!

I live in San Diego, and got a call on my cellphone from this number this morning.  I didn't answer it.  My caller ID said Buffalo NY.  I don't know anyone in Buffalo!

Oh well ? this number called me this morning ? very rude and pushy?
The lady told me I had won a trip, that ?she wasn?t selling me anything? and I had ?Applied? for this.
Hahahah ? Sad to think that someone will likely give her some information or worse!

From Charleston. SC caller do not say anything.. Got this call this morning at 8:35.

I forgot to mention the restricted number and this one came in on the rarely used cell phone, and that number isn't posted anywhere except with the phone company and E-Bay.

After a week of calls from a restricted number, which I didn't pick up, This number called today, I ignored it too and came home to look it up.

A month ago I got a rude person on the house line insisting I'd won some sweepstakes, he was vulgar, non US accent, standard scammer stuff.
So who got my numbers? is this part of the hacked web sites thing?

I got a call from 1-716-803-6631 This number claimed I won some grant and tried to convince me I applied for it..

Called me in San Diego around 3:45pm and said I won something. Spam for sure. The guy did not speak English very well.

Have asked them not to call.  They continue to call.

Just had a call from this number at 9:05am here in Colorado.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, especially with area codes I do not know.  They didn't leave a message, of course.

Totally didn't understand him except the word Michael. He hung up when I asked him to repeat.

I received the call, but didn't answer.  One hour later they called my husband's cell.  When he repeated the number, I noticed they had just called me.  That is what prompted me to Google it.

Just received the call, but do not answer if I do not recognize the Area code.
These people are from Nigeria (many times) looking for vulnerable ladies or easy access to prepaid phones.
Sometimes they live in Canada.
Read AARP and be aware, young, older , men and women.

Called and informed me that I won a contest that I did not remember entering.  English was apparently not first language of caller.  The caller had incorrect information on my marital status, then asked for my age.  I told him that I would be more comfortable if they sent me an email so I could review the information, then he thanked me for my time and hung up.On my phone number appeared as +7168036631, but my phone always properly formats phone numbers.  It seemed like it was most likely a phishing attempt to collect personal information, I would be very careful about answering any of their questions.

A "Michael" with a heavy accent called and asked to talk to the owner of the phone he called about some applications in some local retail stores.

Recieved the call about 15 minutes ago. Didnt answer since i didnt answer numbers i dont reconize. I live in Colorado

My friends and I are in high school in Colorado Springs and my friend just received a call from this number. Being a dumb teenager, I answered the call with an accent. It turns out the the man on the other end has the same accent. As I started to type this he called me but we didn't answer.

I got a call at 3:25 pm today from this number. No one answered when I picked up and said hello a few times. Hubby got a call today from this number this morning. He said the guy was some Indian or foreigner with a heavy accent who he couldn't understand. When hubby asked to repeat the message, the guy hung up. We're in Charleston, SC. This happens even though we have lines which are supposed to filter marketers. Crappy!

I just received a call to my prepaid phone from 716-803-6631 that I didn't answer. They left no message.

I live in northern California I got a call from this number I said Hallo no one responded so I hung up.they called me to my prepaid number. Do u or any one else have a prepaid that has receive a call from that no.

Colorado Springs CO...I recieved a call today at 9:55AM.I was asleep so when I woke up I saw a missed call from that number.Went through my voicemail,no message so I tried calling that number back.."THE NUMBER YOU HAVE DIALED.IS NOT A WORKING NUMBER" bla bla blaaa...Ugh!I hate 'em scammers.

I keep getting this number on my cell phone and when I pick it up no answer then it is hung up

Received a call from this number on 4-23-14 at 7:32 pm. I didn't answer and they left no message. I'm in Charleston, SC. I noticed someone else from Charleston, SC (White Shamrock) also received a call from this number about the same time frame. Interesting that originally calls seemed to be focused in the same geographical area (Indy) for a time then switched to another (Chas, SC).

I don't know how they got the numbers. I don't fill out forms for prizes, giveaways, etc., and I have not used Craigslist in over a year.

Glad I didn't answer.

Got the call this morning at 9:05am and answered. I cut the guy off and said no thank you and to remove my number. He hung up. Called the number back at 9:06am and got a disconnection notice. Total scam. Charleston, SC.
