assist para legal stated i was going to have a summons set to my home

phone call recieved this morning at 9:30. Didnt recognize the area code. went to voice mail. Message was from a Sargent Jeffery McCall stating he was investigating a check fraud and needed to speak to me. He left a case number of 5 digits and a phone number of 866-939-3388. My first reaction was if there is a problem why won't my bank or local police be calling me not an 866 number. After researching these phone numbers I found all these other peeople being called by similar numbers, etc. for pay day loans.  WHAT is so funny almost 3 years ago I had my identity stolen thru an one line banking service. I reproted it to my bank and my local police department, both of which I filed fraud papers and reports for. The payday loan was for 4100.00 but overdrafted my account for over $1000. I got my money back and changed my account. Never heard one thing from any company with the proper papers filed...until now. CAN YOU SAY FRAUD!
