I am home based, so all my numbers are telebranched to my cell. I have a wonderful option on my cell. First, I save the contact to DNA (do not answer), then step 2 is an option to forward to voicemail without even ringing. Have to answer the first time, but after that, it doesn't bother me.

Anyway, This number calls at least every two hours and it's always the same spill. I have told them at least a 100 times to take our number off there list. They hang up before I can finish my sentence. This morning I asked them for a call back number so I could "verify" my listing information and He told me that I couldn't do that. "I had to verify now."  I told him to take my number off his list and he wanted to know why so I told him. He said "No!" and hung up.

They call every other day and harrass me

This is a business saying "we want to update your FREE listing for online yellow pages".  I tell them we don't want a free or any kind of listing and to STOP calling here but they keep calling sometimes three and four times a day.  Can't I stop this harassment?

I, too, have been the "victim" of too numerous calls from telemarketers from legitimate and non-legitimate companies.  I've even filed a report with the BBB for one specific company.  It worked.  I received a really nice apology.  Only one of many!  The deal is, the numbers are on a rotary system and the caller doesn't know who they are calling until you answer.  They are incapable of removing your number.  That takes a tech savvy person!  They get paid to talk only.  Your recourse, pick up and hang up, pick up and hang up, pick up and hang up!  Or, file a report with the BBB for the Buffalo area for that specific number.  It may work, it may not.  I believe we will continue to be victims of cold calls whether we like them or not.

My receptionist has complained that she gets at least 7 -10 calls a week from this same number,. 716- 826-1669. They identify themselves as US Yellow Pages. Every reasonable attempt has been made to politely ask to be removed from their call list--from we're not intersted; please do not call us back---you are annoying & bothering us---nothing stops them. There should be a law against this.This is pure harassment!

I've been accumulating hundreds of spam phone numbers in my phone by saving each number in a "spam" group and assinging that group a distictive ring, so I know to hit the red button and ignore it.  A long time ago I put my phone number on the Do Not Call List and even renewed it after 5 years. About that time they said that renewing was no longer necessary.   I think that all the list did was confine the calls to business hours Monday to Friday.  The spammers feel they can get away with it as long as they avoid the most annoying times.

Yes, Bernard Glavy is the name that shows on caller I.D.  I've also spoken to them about yellow pages listings, told them this is a private number, and not to call as our number is on the useless do-not-call list, but I've continued to receive calls from them. Three more calls at various times of day.

Received two calls from this number, abt an hour apart.  One, the number showed up w/no name and the next call...the same number with the "name" of Bernard V. Glavy...a/c shows to be from NY.

Received a call about yellow page listing. Told them this is switchboard, cannot verify anything over the phone, they need to do it in writing and then I hang up.  

They still call several times a day,  I now just hit my "reject" button on my phone when I see "Bernard Glavy" on the caller ID.

boiler room jerks that call and call, makes no sense at all... I think they are all GAY and jerking off when they call..they sounded VERY VERY GAY... Like they might even be sucking each other when they call which explains why you do not hear much

Ignorant stupid Indian dumb a***s calling from this number, will not stop. I dont even want to speak to these t**** heads, let alone let them try to scam me.

Same indians call everyday about the yellow pages.  I assume it's a scam.  Bernard Glavy is the name that comes up on our caller ID.  Ask them who Bernard Glavy is, and they don't know.

I have been receiving calls from these guys- the number actually belongs to an older gentleman in NY, but these are two Indian guys (dots not feathers)** and they insist on updating your current free yellow pages listing. I gave them incorrect information and they continued on to say that the 29.99/mo fee will be showing up on my phone bill once I approve, which I did not. I have told them not to call this office, and mentioned the do-not-call registry, and they have called every couple of hours in what I can only assume is hope to reach someone else here and have them magically fall for it.

Received 3 calls from this number today with no message, white page listing is for Benard & Nancy G-- of Hamburg, NY. these people are approaching 80 years of age and may be unaware! On receiving the fourth call I was able to speak to someone with a heavy Indian accent trying to verify phone and address for a free yellowpage listing. He also mentioned search engine and Official Small Business Association Inc. and a monthly fee of $29.95 will be placed on your phone bill if enrolled. Stated listing is free and you must return enrollment form from packet to be provided and if there were questions about program you may contact 800-476-2987.
BE CAREFUL VERY DIFFICULT TO CANCEL WITHOUT COSTING $$$$

Same thing.  Several calls from this number today and no message.
