Received several messages on cell and at work. Claiming to be an officer and that I was in legal dispute!

wow, this is a coincidence, Mark Williams was the "officer" that contacted me from the state federal credit union three days in a row.  how dumb to use his name on this site.  the first call really scared me and I googled his name and then to this site describing what a bunch of scammers they are!  If he didn't use his name here I would have never found this site and might have actually paid them money!  that is too funny - now I can't wait for them to call tomorrow!!

Guy called pretending to be Officer David White from FCD. I've received 10 calls to my cell and now three call to my job. I never applied for a loan with them. Really unscrupulous. BEWARE!!!!

STOP LYING. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOTHING BUT LOW LIFE CROOKS.  THEY HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO THE FTC AND TO MY LOCAL STATES ATTORNEY.  YOU ARE MORE THAN LIKELY ONE OF THEM.  SORRY PIECES OF TRASH.  I HOPE THEY DO CATCH YOU AND THEN YOU WILL BE THE ONE GOING TO JAIL!!!!

you cannot go "behind bars" for a civil matter dummy, and I have called my states attorney and they have told me that these people are scamming people that they call.  Do some research

got a call from 911 ...answered obviously and of course a man with a thick Indian accent told me i was a suspect in a crime .. I asked what his name was and told him it was illegal to call from 911.. he said "excuse me ?"  and I just hung-up. This is of course a scam... this is not how real legal situations work. Please not feel threatened and give these people any money. If you have debt, use an actual debt agency to help you. NEVER GIVE SOMEONE YOUR BANK INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE based on some random phone call.  What they are doing is illegal.

This guys really work had to save me from the  court...

i received a call from a foreign person saying he is filing and taking me to court for a 100.00 payday loan i never had im calling the attorney general office if any wants to file a class action suit respond to me and we will chat

don't listen to any one because once you will pay to them you will get documents. i got all the documents at my address so just resolve the issue.

Don's listen to any one just pay them because they are doing a legally. & If any one want's to resolved the issue so just talk with senior officer name is Frank Miller. he is really genuine person so talk with him.

Please don't pay these guys any money. They are just scammers. They will try to threat you with legal words, but just ignore them. They won't be able to do any thing. Contact your legal adviser if you have any outstanding debt.

These people called my sister stating that I had filed for a loan in her name and that we would both be held accountable and taken to court.  

I have never used my sisters information and don't even know her social security number.  This person must be stopped.

I just got a call from a Man claiming to be an officier stating pay day loan and I was going to go to jail!

Same here!  This has happened to me before and I lost $900.  They have been calling me and my family members - they have all of my information and somehow know that I owe an online loan.  Said his name was David Daniel.  I told them I was scammed before - and wanted their address.  He wouldn't give it to me.  I said I wanted something mailed to me certified but he said the company can not afford to send out letters. I have had calls from 5 different numbers (international, local, NY, PA and yes 911 Emergency).  When I said it was illegal to call from 911 Emergency he said that was not him.  Ohhh - but it was.  They are supposed to send me something via email... we shall see.  Any idea if these a$$holes can also be legit?  Will they send it to court?  Or do they go away if you call their bluff?  I said I was going to call the BBB but he said they won't have anything since they are a collection agency.  The agency name when I pressed was 'Allen Collecting Department'.  His English wasn't very good.  He said they collect from INV Cash Services.  The first time I spoke to them and asked for something in writing they hung up and wouldn't answer the number again.  Now they are calling from a new number. 716-831-3630 and 724-512-2117.

A gentlemen with an East Indian accent called from the "Department of Crime Prevention" ? in Long Beach California and indicated that I was guilty of Bank Fraud and had a payday loan of $600 and had never paid it back. I requested what government organization (i.e. FBI, etc.)...I then became concerned because when I called, the gentleman who answered the phone did not say the name of a government organization, just what extension did I want. I informed him I had no payday loan because it was illegal in Georgia.  He shared that the case is going to court today at 3:30 pm.  I asked him what court so that I could be in attendance and that I had relatives who were judges and wanted to inform them of this call so that we could investigate.  He wanted me to pay $112 to report identify theft and it would all be taken care of.  I requested documentation.  He shared that he could not send the documentation until I paid the $112!  I shared that it was illegal to pursue requests for money owed without the documentation.  he shared that I could have my lawyer accompany me to the courthouse (here in Georgia?  Where?).  I asked what courthouse and what state...he then hung up the phone.

I just recieved a call from this # but it came up on my cell as a 911 emergency call so of course I answered and it was the indian accent guy stating to be an officer "david White" they have called and threatend to send people to my house and work to srrest me....when you tell them your going to take action aganist them they just start laughing...these people have no fear!

This number has called 5 times in the past 30 minutes. I finally picked up the last time. They are supposedly "Morgan and Associates". the man has an East Indian accent claiming to be "Jeff Morgan" and he has my personal info!!! Stating that I took out a loan from CashNetUSA and never repayed! This is definately fraud! Telling me that I must repay the $400 loan or go to court. I HAVE NEVER heard of cashnetusa! I did, however, take out a loan from another company which I repaid!! Don't let them bully you! I told them I was calling the Pentagon, which I am about to do.

Not paying a bill is not going to put you in a legal mess.  Do some research we do not live in a country with "debtors prison".  And further more I have filed a legal complaint with the FTC who has confirmed that these people are low life hackers that have gotten people info from internet pay day loan companies that they obtained illegally.  For anyone out there besides this person with common sense don't let these thieves bully you.  Don't give them any money or any more of your information.  They already have enough.

I have received several calls from this number. I answered the phone because they called 22 times consecutively in a matter of minutes.They also called from several numbers which all were reported as non working numbers when I tried to call back. The guy said his name is Calvin Watson, claming to be a federal agent from an agency called "Federal Crime Department", but he has a very distinct mid eastern accent--possibly from India. He said that I owe money on a payday loan from us cash advance. He said that if I do not pay $1000 immediately, that I will be prosecuted and sent to prison!
    I told him that it is illegal to threaten me over the phone. I asked why I have not received anything in the mail regarding this supposed matter and he just repeated that he is a federal agent, that he can send me to prison and that his web address is www.icf.gov.  I can find no such website.

I have received several phone calls like the ones listed above from various numbers stating that I owe a payday loan in which I never took. I person has the same Indian accent but uses different names and this time he indicated he was a officer. He is calling my job and cell phone constantly. I have stated in the past that I have reported them to the authorities and they stop calling for a while and then call from another number and name. I know this is a scam
