Thanks for the info!!  I have had several numbers 716-931-9828 & 716-931-9830 call and he represents as a "Marshall Joel Thomas".  His calls began in the middle of August 2009 and of course I reported this to the FTC and spoke to my attorney about it.  He had called my brother's house and other people that I know but do not associate with.  He stopped calling the month of September, however, I get a threatening phone on October 14, 2009 and then again today, November 2, 2009.  I spoke to my brother about all of this and googled these telephone numbers and found comments from other people which has helped me due to my brother was getting worried about me.  I emailed my brother today the comments that were under both of the numbers mentioned above.  I was surprised to see this number ending in 9829 on one of the other comments.  My brother told me he viewed it as a nationwide scam and to report it the FTC and General Attorney's Office.  I did report it back in August 2009 and called today and reported the other number just the same person.  I ask Mr. Thomas to mail me the documents reflecting what I owed and have not received anything.  He told me the same thing about being jailed and the paperwork would be faxed over.

I am also going through this right now. "Lester" has called me numerous times claiming that if I did not pay he was going to have me arrested. That bastered had me so scared @ first.  I even asked him where to send the money to. He gave me a money gram code and said mail it "Person to Person".  Thats when I became suspious.  Now when I call to get the name of his company he hangs up the phone on me. Beware of this man and always check things out before sending money to criminals like him.

This is happening to me right now, and the mans name is "Lester Kincaid", I have notified all authorities, New York and Missouri....hope they get him stopped soon, he is harrassing my family and friends, and has given out my SS#....

This man "Lester Kincaid", has been harassing my friend and other people in my town, saying that he has fraud charges on me....but refusung to talk to me about it even though I have called this number and left my name and number.....He has also recited my ss# to these people he is calling....

HE SAID HE HAD A COURT ORDER FOR ME TO TESTIFY IN A CASE INVOLVING MY SISTER SHARON IN A CLAIM AGAINST HER.

A man claiming to be "Lester Kinkaid" called my home, my parents? home, and a family friend...actually I didn't even know the friends phone number.  They are the friends of my parents, but I digress...he claimed he was an investigator pursuing me on behalf of unnamed clients in a debt collection matter.  Threatening to have me jailed and faxing information to my local county clerk's office.

Anyway, he had the last four digits of my SSN, my county of residence, and the aforementioned phone numbers.  

I returned his call...indicating that I knew he was a scammer, not to expect any cooperation on my part, and that I would do my best to find information about his whereabouts and report it to his local authorities.  Which I did.
