Just got a call form 911 and they gave me this number with an Alex Wastson as an officer stating an officer will be out in 1/2 hour yo take me to jail.

Hello! I was told the same thing! I was called by an emergency number though! Showed up as a 911 caller! I was directed to call officer Alex Watson as well who was handling the "case". They keep calling and asking for the recent owner of my phone number! Said she has 3 charges against her. The first guy from the emergency number had a really bad accent and so did the second. Told me to get her on the phone now. One thing I want to mention, the first guy said he is from the Ohio state police department... Which is where I live. Then gave me the 717... Number same as you and told me to get ahold of Alex who is in Illinois! I am from Pennsylvania and my area code was 717 out there and I instantly recognized it! When I asked him he said oh I don't know what you are saying and then started speaking in what sounded like tounges! I laughed and hung up and then called "Alex" who called me a liar and said I was Candice... The old owner of this number... I am now notifying the police department and tomorrow I will be contating the FBI for telecommunications! I am so sick of these foreigners taking from us! What if they get a hold of an elderly woman and she gives them all her money! Or she gets frightened enough to have a heart attack!

The phone call scared me at first  I was told to contact this alex watson  from new york he yields at me over the phone and calls a fool he said owe 475.00  dollars never gave him any information got off the phone looked up the number and found this website thank you for having this website

I have just received this strange phone from an officer Chris Chris what he won't tell and tells me to call this 717 number to call a Alex Watson these folks have now idea who they are dealing with

Why would she pay a foreign 3rd world scammer-extortionist money on a debt she doesn't owe? Send proof. US Mail. Not fax, text, or email. US Mail.

I Rceived the same type of phone call guy said he was deputy Chris from the Illinois State Police and that I have federal charges against me. I was instructed to call this number and ask for deputy Alex Watson at the number everyone else provided. And if I did not respond to this call they will send it out their team to arrest me. Since I work close to the Illinois State Police district in office (district 10).I decided to stop by and check with them. I had to run my name and I came back clean with no Warrants. So this is a scam.

Got a threatening call from this number

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I received a ph call at 9:30 am from a middle eastern man claiming that he was with the Florida State Police and there is a Officers that want to press charges against Me??? Freaked Me out!! Never been in trouble with anything!! He gives me the number to call the officer's 717-220-6491.. I call and leave a message, Then my wife and I google just this ph number, and this is what I find!! Then at 11:45 am the number calls me back, again heavy middle eastern accent, claiming to be Officer Alex Watson, The New Yorker in Me came right out!! I told him You better bring Your Partner Mr.Sherlock Holmes with You when You come to lock me up!! What an American name Alex Watson from the middle east, calling from Pennsylvania 717!! Threw in a few F Bombs too.. Total scam, against the law to impersonate a officer of the Law, No??

I recieved a call from this # also demanding me to pay $389 or be arrested.

I have received several calls from these jerks. I searched the phone number online and found numerous people complaining of the exact same phone call. They told me I have federal warrants against me and if I pay them 450.00 today I wouldn't be arrested. My response was "don't forget to bring your handcuffs when you come to get me!" I knew it was a scam. These people have no morals they need to be shut down ASAP!!!

I received a call from 717 220 6491 and also from 512 215 5897.  Both callers had heavy Middle Eastern accents and I was informed that I had charges against me.  I was instructed to call agent David Cooper for the 512 number and Alex Watson for the 717 number at the Illinois State Police.  This has to be a total scam and I am contacting a few friends I have on my local police department to see how to handle this.

Also received a call from these men. Heavy accents. Told me I was going to be arrested for fraud and tax evasion unless I settled the amount due. Total scam and they definately need to be stopped.

I had a call come in as 911, so of course I answered it. The caller on the line said I had 3 charges being filed against me on behalf of a federal complaint including check fraud. Advised to provide documentation to my address, since he had a heavy accent. He advised me to call 717-220-6491 and when I called it went straight to voicemail every time. Caller kept telling me I can resolve it by paying $485.00, but wouldn't tell me what it was for, so I hung up.

Received a call from 911, some hadji saying I had charges against me but call the # and no answer... bogus

I received a call from 911, so naturally I picked it up. It was "Constible John" directing me to call "Robert Connors" at this number. Both men had very heavy Indian accents. I was told I had 3 charges against me one being knowledgable check fraud. Told him to send me something in the mail and hung up. These people have to be stopped!!!!
