I also received a phone call from this number yesterday 9/5/13.  They claimed to be the PA dept of revenue.  They didn't know their ID number which I know for a fact the real deal can rattle off in a second.  They asked for the last 4 digits of my ss number.  They told me I owed from 2011 $288.  I actually did owe that but I had paid it.  So somehow these people are getting our information some how and trying to get us to pay it.  When I called the number back it would not go through to anyone.  FYI.....IRS doesnt call you...they send you everything in writing.

Got a call from this number this afternoon.  She said I didn't file my Q1 PA W3.  I said I did but I would look into it.  I checked online and I did file.  Called PA Dept. of Revenue, they checked and said my filing was completed.
Tried to call the number back but it was a dead line.  Don't know what the scam is all about but if they call back I will let them know they are scammers.

This number called   it's a SCAM!  get a name address and notify the STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE>

Said they were PA Department of Revenue.  Said I needed to file for my company Q1 tax form I never heard of.  I checked with my payroll company and we did file the from.   I called back and it was dead phone number.  I called PA Department of Revenue to see if they could confirm but was on hold for 15 minutes and finally gave up.  Figured they will contact me again if something isn't right.

i received the same call .. they told me the i need to pay tax for 2012  for may business  ....I dont' have my business last year "717-231-2714"

I received a call from the same phone number for IRS collection.  I called back and the number would not go through

WHATEVER YOU DO...DON'T SEND YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIS FAKE COMPANY.  THEY CLAIM TO BE THE IRS BUT AFTER MUCH RESEARCH I FOUND OUT THEY ARE NOTHING BUT SCAM ARTIST THAT TRY TO PREY ON THOSE THAT MAY EASILY GET VERY NERVOUS WHEN THEY HERE "IRS."  THEY CALLED ASKING FOR COPIES FOR 2008 AND 2009 RETURNS, SAYING "I OWED $2,000.00."  I KNEW THIS DIDN'T SOUND RIGHT AND IT WAS 100% FAKE, FRAUD AND MISLEADING.

PA Dept of Revenue - Probably about sales tax.

I received a call from the 717-231-2714 today at 11:50am.  They said it was the IRS collections.

Haven't picked up but have recently been receiving calls from this #. I recently signed up on an web ad site and think this is the cause.
