Just to let know to be careful, there is scam going around yesterday 04/12/14 while I was at work one of my brother received a phone call and a text telling him that I was involved in a car accident and that a kid go hurt and cause I was the  one that cause the accident they had kidnapped me and my brother needed to pay for my rescue so they can take the kid to the hospital otherwise they were going to kill me... my brother thought that they had a wrong phone number, but they were able to gave him some of my personal information so he was convinced that it was true. To make this long story short. Police was called and a report filed.
We learned that it is scam, that it is happening lately, so please be careful.

the caller said he would shoot my brother if i made any phone calls or tried to call the police . used actual name of my brother and work place.

tried to get me to send money western union.

same thing threatening to shoot my sister n law and then they were calling her telling her the same thing about us

"Sorry, a car accident just happen here at a gastation with someone you know an dis very injuried. It was a silver car and a black car involved.Someone named John. Please call back at this number I am Kenny."

Sounds like a scam to me. I didn't call the number and I wouldn't recommend that anyone do either.

recieved text saying family member was in accident. spelling was wrong and my mother in law recieved a similar call about her grand daughter a few months earlier. called the number back from my house phone, someone answered an then started speaking spanish. you could hear other calls going on in the background and they hung up. called back to literally curse them out and went straight to voicemail.

This guy just did the same to me except he threatened to shoot my brother and me for calling the cops

I received the following text message: "A car accident hapen with someone you know please call back at this number my name is jonathan"   I hate idiots

Received a bogus scam text from this number, saying someone I know was in an accident, and to call back.

sorry, it has been car accident here at a gas station you know and is very injured please call this number.1-717-372-2873.

got a call from this number saying that a relative was in an accident and asked who he was talking to and I asked who they needed to speak to and they told me the same thing about the accident and what was my name. I told them they picked the wrong person to try and scam and I hung up on them.

received a text from this number, informing me someone I know was involved in an accident.  Near gas station and a Silver truck.  Serious injuries.  Asked that I call the number .
