Its a scam of some sort. I just got a voicemail from this number from a man with a thick Pakistani accentstating his name was Officer Jim Parker from State Investigations. He said he had an affidavit against my name and social security number. He said I had 3 legal suits against me and I had to call him back to take care of these legal matters. He left his phone number and he threatened that if I ignored the message or didn't get in contact with him then I would be in big trouble. Funny thing is that I live in Texas, but when I Googled the phone number it showed to be coming from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I have some info on it. Its exchange 610 is managed by LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC -.The number is currently on switch number PHLAPAFGDSU. The number has a total of 2 complaints filed against it.

First it is Jim Parker and now Peter Johnson. They have been calling my job and my cell but never my home. It is very aggravating. I am going to call back and ask for a fax number to send a Cease and Desist letter. Hopefully that will help! When I asked if he was called from FBI since he said he was an officer he said yes. Later he said he was calling from Law offices of BCI.

A man claiming to be Roy Cooper wtih the State Police of Texas called our business stating that he was an officer wanting to talk to an employee.  I asked him for more information about who he worked for and he got very ugly.  I told him that he was not with the State Police in Texas because that is not how they identify themselves or how they do business because I just retired from the DPS and he hung up.  The Indians or Pakistanis from this number have been bombarding our switchboard in Texas with phone calls and we cannot seem to get them to stop.  I even contacted AT&T Security and they directed me to this site.

A man claiming to be "Office Peter Johnson" (with a VERY thick Indian accent) has been calling from the "Crime Investigation Bureau". Claims I took out a loan (I didn't), says he's filing a report with the police, says I'm going to jail for fraud...whatever. I feel bad for the people who are taken in by these scams.

We have been getting the same phone calls for this number too, it doesnt make sense

Caller wanted an employee to come to the phone for a legal matter. I stated if it was legal why aren't you sending them something in the mail? Caller got agitatied and demanded to speak to the employee I offered for them to leave their number but he again got pissy so I told him "no" he called a third time and wanted the employees supervisor. I stated I was the supervisor. His reply was priceless"huh?" I said stop bothering us we will continue to hang up on you. He then said I have squashed little companies like you for not complying and I laughed and stated "you didnt do your homework did you? Or you would know we are one big company you cant squash with your false truths. We are recording your rudness and will be hanging up everytime you call us. So have a great day. I hung up knowing that it was a scam and I will protect my employees from idiots like this. If it were a legal matter they would send soemthing in the mail. DUH???? But these people often scare teh unknowing and the elderly. I hope they get "squashed" one day.

I also got a call from this man claiming if was being seud for fraud and i ask him the name of my bank and he said cash advance and if told thats not the name of my bank and hung up in his face.

I received a call from this number 717-610-4301 on June 27th around 11:40. Person claimed I was being sued for fraud because I received a $400 dollar deposit into my account from a company named Cash Advance. I called my bank and no deposit from that name or amount has been made to my account. What should I do?

just got a phone call on my job saying that my SS# was under investigation about some loan that I never received. They said that a police will be coming to my job or house to arrest me. They were foreign speakers (Indian or Arab) and got very irritated when I didn't give them the satisfaction. As i look on my cell phone I got 6 missed calls from them and 4 missed calls on my work phone. This is harassment!

received a call on my job from 717-610-4301 from someone claiming to be Officer Tommie Parker saying I owed on a defaulted loan to Cash Advance. I need to pay them $384.00 the debit I owed. when I told him I knew this was a scam call he replied "O' my god"  I'm tried of people saying this. Are you going to pay or not. I hung up.
He continued to call back asking to speak to my supervisor. I had informed her what was going on when she looked up the number and found this site found  many complaints about this same number. Even after speaking to her he continued to call back to back insisting that he speak with me and pay the debt or be arrested. I also found out he had call on the job about another employee which works here saying the same thing over 34 time he called back to back. Sometimes he claims to be Agent Sam Jones  or sometimes its a woman claiming to be Agent Kim Fox.  

I  called the company I had a loan with and they said they would never do anything like that, my account is up to date. they would first contact me by e-mail; give time for a response then by postal. THEY WOULD NEVER CALL ANYONE'S JOB!!!!

They tried to collect money from a cash advance. I told them that I didn't have a cash advance loan with the company. They said it was a lawsuit against me.

He says that his name is Officer Allen Parrish. Very unprofessional.

This guy called me stating that I have 3 legal suits against me and wanted me to give him my debit card info to clear the debt. When I ask him the company name  that filed the suit and the date of these debts, he told me that I was being smart and disconnected the call. So him and his employers have been harrasing me at my job all day. Who is this guy?

This guy just states he is some officer from someone PCI Bureau of Investigations and he wants to speak to my supervisor about a fraud claim with my name and the last four of my social security number.

recieved a call from 717-610-4301 at 7:33 am stating that it was Officer Mark Thomas (with a really bad accent) and that I needed to call them back right away because I owed money and if I didn't pay, they would have me arrested.  I checked out the number on the internet and this was all a scam.  I called them back on my cell phone (which I had my cell number blocked) and the person on the other side says "hello".  I told them I received a call from this number and he says "this is my number".  I told him that I looked up the number on the internet and they are a scam and he hung up. Whenever you have an American name with a person with a REALLY bad accent, it's only obvious.

I had just got off work had one missed call.Returned the phone call asked who it was they replied who is this, i replied gave them my name. he said hold on and transferred me to some f****ng idiot that gave me the same pitch and told me i had all these charges. Yeah ok for what his reply a payday loan. I reply back to him and say i haven't got any money from anyone. He said well im going to put you in jail. Now im like ok why would you be telling me over the phone you f****ng retard. As i went on I said are you even located in america you peace of s***. This damn idiot had the nerve and asked to speak to my mother. I was like im not a child nor a teen im a grown a** f****ng man. He told me tell your mom im going to f*** her. Then i flipped out! He hung up and i tried to call back and they blocked my number. Bunch of idiots. For future ref.if you got a call from this number check your credit score i think this is some place in Indonesia My f****ng email was logged into by one of those f****ng bricks i now got life lock and im proply going to have some issues.

They kept calling my phone stating the were with the police department and i have a warrent for my arrest. I asked them what company they are and they said "Im your daddy and Im going to F&*K your wife while your not home". I am contacting the state department and writing the Governer of Florida over this matter. This is not a game and you just really pissed someone off! This is wrong and for them to talk to me like this!!!! Youre going down..........legally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Justice needs to be served! They have threatened me and my family!

They called our house phone first and left a message then my husbands work phone. Pretty much the same thing as others, they posed as FBI or something of the sort and said we owed a payday loan place and if we didnt pay they would have him arrested. They were very rude and disrespectful. They also said they were going to call his work and the local police dept. What a bunch of bull!!! People like that really pev me off. They would not relese any information on the Corporation that they work for.

I ALERTED MY ATTORNEY AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A SCAM.THEY THREATEN ME WITH 3 COUNTS OF VIOLATION OF FEDERAL BANK REGULATIONS, CHECK FRAUD AND THEFT BY DECEPTION.THEY ALSO9 SAID I HAD ONE HOUR OR THEY WERE GOING TO CALL MY JOB ANS ARREST ME. I AM ALOT CALMER NOW BUT REALLY ANGRY!!

I had a call and they were very nasty and they said i had a payday loan that i hadn't paid for and that they wew dectives with the pennsylavia state . they said that it was a fraud and that i was going to jail if i did not pay this. Then I said I wanted to call the attorney Generals office to see if they were with the state of pennsylavia as officers. They said i did not have to get them involved.I needed to pay this within one hour or Agents would be here to arrest me.

I told my husband about it and he was very upset, he tried to talk to them and he told them this would be paid by 4p.m. well needless to say we went to the county sheriffs office and talk to a very nice patrol man and he told me this was a fraud and ask if i gave them anymoney i said no I gave them old debit card number and they wanted me to sign a paper and fax it to them for them to take money offf my card . they called me 10 more times and i refused to answer the call. I also followed up with the state highway patrol and the attorney general office and they all said this is fraud.

Got the same call drove to the police station with them on the phone to let them speak with the police, but they wouldn't answer. Tried to report them to the BBB, they didn't have a business name. Called my phone company they didn't have a name for the company either. I wouldn't confirm info, but they knew a lot about me. They have hacked into something. They tried to make me pay for some loan that I know nothing about. Detective Rogers is who he said that he was.

they called saying i owed for a pay day loan and i told them i was the police and they got scared and stopped calling at first they said they were going to arrest me but i said i was a cop and they got afraid.
