If you post your resume on a job finding service then employers will call you if they are interested in calling you.  There is an option to not be contacted unless you submit a request.  If this is not the job for you, then answer the phone and tell them you are not interested.  They will not waste their time calling someone that is not interested, but they might keep you on a call list until they are aware you are not interested.

It is not a call center - it is one person calling.  She is in an office and you info was on one of the websites like Monster & Career builder.  It is an insurance comany

they called my house this morning saying the same thing..that i applied for a job with them and they needed me to get in contact with them IMMEDIATELY. I have not applied with them..I'm just thinking they got my information from HOTJOBS.

They called me this morning telling me that I NEEDED to set up an interview right away so that I could start work.  They said they got my information off of careerbuilder.com so like a previous poster said, please be careful because apparently they "hire" people first and ask questions later.

I got a call from them this a.m. saying they saw my job posted on Yahoo.com through the York Daily Record website and were VERY interested in talking to me.  They sounded like an employment/headhunter agency and I hung up on them.  They called me back and left a message.

They called me at 9:30 am saying that they would like to set up an interview with me since I applied for a job there when I never even heard of this company, let alone apply for a job by them. They also said that they are located in Lebanon, PA and would like to set up an interview as soon as possible. I dont know why they called, let alone got my phone number. My number is on a do not call list already.

They are an insurance company and if your 18 they will be likely to have your information on a call center report.  You are not too old or young as long as you are 18 and not deceased.  They have programs for all age groups.  So if you have any sense of fincial planning and / or responsiblity you should call them and schedule an appointment.  tell em digger sent you

This number called me this morning and i googled what the lady "Bonny" said she was from and its a company in mechanicsburg, pa.
