keeps calling but does not leave a message on my machine, I don't normally answer calls from #'s I don't recognize.

caller said he was calling in behalf of the police chiefs assn asking for a donation - like the freaking cops don't get enough cash as it already is - now they want more??  Give me a break

Received a call no one spoke. Dialed*69 for the telephone number. This will coast me $1.50 on my telephone bill.

Called today at 1:39pm.  Did not leave a message.

Phone rang; nobody was there when I answered. *69 tells me it was from this number.

They called me @ 6:50p and no one answered when I said Hello.  Waited for 10-15 seconds & still no answer.  I called it back & they answered right away.  Said it was a technical issue.  If you are in the business of calling people they should have a system that works.  I didn't even let them tell me what they wanted and requested to be put on a do not call list.

They don't have southern accents in Akron, OH.  Anyway, got the same call this morning - and yes, as you confirmed, it's Akron, PA.  Didn't even know such a place existed.

said hello once and then are you there.  a male with a southern accent which makes sense the caller ID says Akron Ohio.

Called on 11-17-11, we answered by mistake, as we were expecting a call from an unfamiliar number  -- a man said he was calling on behalf of something like "the Pennsylvania Police Chiefs Association."  I hung up before he could say any more. This sort of thing goes around from time to time, though my files do not contain this number. It is probably not really a scam, but one of those things where some third party calls for an organization, and gives the org. some pitiful fraction of whatever they are able to collect.

Just called. No message. Never seen before.
