The man also keeps calling me and it's a Texas number and he's saying he is Officer Daniel Stewart. I also did what you did and contacted the police and asked them about it and they said it's a SCAM!!

called to inform me that I have been accepted for a payday loan. didnt answer

I got a call for this number. I couldn't understand him to catch his name. He stated he was from the State Bureau of Investigation. He began telling me that I had criminal charges filed  against me today  for a payday loan that I never paid back. I told him I never have taken out a payday loan. He tried to tell me I was lying and more charges would be filed against me. I asked him if he could tell me the company I supposedly had a loan with. He couldn't give that info. He said it was turned over to them to get the money from me. I hung up on him. And they kept calling back. and calling back. The guy barely spoke English. He was very determained and got really pissed off when I would give them in info. They called back again later and I answered  and told them do not call me again. And that I reported them to my local police and the FBI. He got pissed off and said Do what you have to do You mother F****er. I know where you live and I will kill you. and hung up..

I just got a called from them saying I am being sued for a payday loan. I took out. To have my lawyer call them. They are sending paper to the court house to have me arrested.They called my job today. They have been calling me about 5 to 6 times a day.

A person called stating his name was Officer Daniel Stewart or Stuart and stating he was with the State Bureau of Investigation -Brooklyn Office. He began by asking me if I had ever been arrested and I told him NO. He then stated that this would be my first time.  He wanted me to listen to something he had to read to me.  I told him that I would be more than happy to listen to him but that I preferred to call the NY State Bureau of Investigations and ask to be put through to Officer Stewart and if I was able to reach him via that route he could read me anything he wanted.  I called the NY State Police- NYC division and asked to be put through to this so- called officer and was informed that this is a SCAM...a group of people seeking to garner my personal information in order to steal my identity or to clean out my bank account.  If you are contacted by this number or by 212-845-9728 and the person barely speaks English or gives you the name Officer Daniel Stewart or Jason Jones THEY ARE TRYING TO RUN A SCAM ON YOU.  DO NOT give them any information and feel free to attempt to verify them through the NY State Police.  The NY State Police are aware of this scam.  BEWARE!!!

Heavy accented Pakinstani called my work harassing me. Repeatedly asked to talk to someone in America. They kept passing the call to other Pakistanis. When I asked them how much they were going to try to scam from me, they threatened me and hung up the phone.

Heavy accented male saying he is officer from fbi. Called 8 times ín a row. Kept calling back after i asked them not to.

these people claim i am being sued for some debt i have with them! i dont know who they are!

Called my job several times stating that I owed a payday loan, that never exsisted, make false accusations regarding I used company name and email for wire transfers, which is untrue, when asked when and where the money was transferred to, they got upset and hung up the phone.
