Received a text message from "biysso@messaging.sprintpcs.com" stating "CommunityChoice has limited your account access. To reactivate call 7183763270" I called Sprint and advised them of this scam. They are also investigating because these people are using their name. DON'T CALL THE NUMBER!!!

There are several posts throughout the internet regarding this scam. Its not just Sprint. So far I've read of Sprint, T-mobile, and Verizon users having similar issues with these emails and text messages.

I find it interesting that none of you have made the "Sprint" connection here. I can pretty much guarantee all of you are in Arizona and have a Sprint cell phone. My ex works for Sprint so my kids have Sprint phones. They all get these scams all the time sent to their phones. I have Tmobile and have NEVER gotten anything like this. Food for thought.

that's EXACTLY what happened to me...but I called because I had no clue but I just got dead air. I then googled it here and saw that it was a phishing scam. What happens if you call? I just got dead air so I'm not sure if they can access my information...can they?

Got text from 718 376 3270 said my sun west account was blocked. I did not call it as I knew it was a phishing expedition.I have a arizona cell number.

I got the same text twice. Once yesterday and again today but the texts are from two different addressess. I just got a new number and was able to get rid of annoying creditors who kept calling for the lady that had the number before I did. Now I get to be hit by spam. I was stupid and called the number back but didn't even get a dialtone. Arghh...I hate it when I do something stupid...
