I just received a call Indian guy from Insta Cash they have a new number 646-652-7427 threatened me said check fraud identity theft thisis crazy.. He has been threatening me since last week.  They suppose to come to my job tomorrow..

Report Norman to the State's Attorney General and to the FBI

Norman keeps calling saying I owe Insta Cash and today I must $600, tomorrow it goes up to $1,000 and next month at court it will be $6,000. He says I committed a federal crime and he's coming to my house and my job. I never heard of Insta Cash.

I have received numerous calls, 2 from Jason Wayne and one from ??? Brown. Staes he is from the crime division, and that I borrowed 300.00 in January. Couldn't give me an exact date and what bank the money was deposited. I have already filed a xomplaint with the police department, but they say they can't help.
I am now being threatened with arrest, an investigative team along with the police department are going to come to my house to drag me off to jail.
I am really getting sick of the threats!

Omg I got this same thing too and there were threatening and saying that I am a runaway and there is a lawsuit against me filing on friday morning and I paid them thinking it was a legit company. How can I report this

i am so tired of receiving these phone calls they have been harassing me at home and at work and it is horrible because they threaten you and tell you that they wish you luck and get very nasty. I do not owe any pay day loan or anything else for that matter and I want these calls to stop. The person's name was Norman and he had a very thick Indian accent and he yelled at me like I was his child. I am very upset and I want these calls so stop. Sometimes it is from different numbers but it is always the same company and the are in NY and always tell you to retain an attorney.

They say they are from Crime Department and that they need my attorney that they will becoming to have me arrested.  I have called Baltimore County Poilce Dept incident # 12-103-1178.  Man on the phone gave me addres of 11127 121 Street, South Ozone Park, NY  11470.  This is residence and not a business.  They are trying to scam people out of money saying I owe Instant Cash and Wachovia bank!  I have never had a loan and never had account with Wachovia.  I want them to get put on blast for this and not be able to do this to no one else.  They have a thick indian accent and cuss at youb ndon't follow any true FDCPA laws and believe its a sacam to take money fromthe stay at home people.  I would like for us all to ge together and sue.   I have my comcast recordings and the phone numbers a very stupid bunch but they messed with the right one I want to go after them.  Kaqthleen Straight,  646-381-1978, Charles Williams 213-550-2035, David Cooper 469-248-4148 Lets go after them help me if you  can.  I have turned over to FCC, FTC, AG in MD and FBI. anyone got anyother suggestions!

they called my work claiming it was a legal matter and I was being sued also it was an indian man .

This schmuck "Dexter Brown" (who could hardly speak English) called both my cell and my work and left messages, urgent, due to severity of this matter........yet when I called him back, I asked for the case information (jurisdiction, plaintiff's name and case/docket number).  He said he couldn't give me that information and that if I failed to cooperate, he was going to send someone to my office to "haul me off to jail". I told him that perhaps he had better brush up on the law, that a case needed to be filed in some court jurisdiction and that he just couldn't send someone to haul me off to jail without filing any pleadings, which must be served on me and which would allow me to file responsive pleadings.  He told me he could, so I basically told him to go ahead and that I would make sure that all of the attorneys from my office, the Mayor, FBI and local police were at my office when his "person" came to haul me away.  So I was telling a friend of mine about this, and he offered to call the guy and get information, including Dexter's address.  Yes, it is true that my attorney friend is from New York and has "friends" from there and hopefully they can pay Dexter a little visit (if in fact they are in New York and not in India).

I received a call from 646-381-1978 at 10:24 A.M. on my home answering machine.  It was an Indian man going by the name of "Steve Allen" (yeah, right, and this is the comedy hour) and he said he was trying to reach me but he got my voicemail instead.  He also said it was in regards to something important, and that due to the severity of the situation, he needs me or my retained attorney of record to call him back.  He also said that if either one of us calls him by 4:30 today (3/19/12), he may be in a position to to help me out.  Yeah, right.  Whatever.  I've been getting these types of calls since June, 2009, and they're all basically the same type of message, but they are definately all a scam.  So please, if anyone else gets a similar type of phone call from someone that sounds like they come from India, please do not call them back and report them the the FBI and your state attorney general's office.  Also, just to let you know, they cuss people out over the phone and threaten to take you, family members, and your employer to jail.  So, please, be very careful out there everyone.

People keep calling our business looking for someone who works here. They always have basic American names, but seriously Indian accents. And they say they are from the financial crime department in New York. They always make it sound urgent, but its so phony!!! The number they gave us was 646-381-1978. They did have her social security number too.

I just got the same message, i actually spoke to a thick accent indian guy named norman.....said he had filedm federal charges on me for check fraud....I called the loan company I do business with and she told me it was a fraud scam...numerous customers have called reporting these calls...they assured me they do not handle business like that....i have notidfed my bank as well, because he had the last digits of my card #....i actually spoke to norman and stated that the suit was filed in federal court....if you call the # back it says crime division.....in new york....so please.....be aware!!!!

I have constantly received threatening messages on my cell, home, and work number from some thick Indian accent women and men. One of the names is Kiara Dorsey and Sandra Moore. Could not make out gentleman name. The message states " this is extremely important that the very second I receive this message , me or my retained attorney need to contact them regarding a supposed cash pay day loan from ACE CASH USA, that I never applied for. They state they have my name and social security number in which they plan to file legal suit against me. Ms. Dorsey even read a "affidavit" she planned to file against me for bank fraud, account fraud, etc. In addition, I am on the "black list". Now, If me or my retained attorney do not contact them back, they can only wish me good luck as this case unfolds against me"! THEY ARE CALLING FROM ALL DIFF NUMBERS THIS IS ONLY ONE.  ANOTHER IS 888-708-8647, 609-779,9702, 1-017-10, AND UNVAILABLE AND RESTRICTED NUMBERS . I WANT THE CALLS TO STOP!!!
