Have received calls from J2 global twice,??? the message they left both times mentions my account being turned over to them??? want to talk to me about???? have no idea.  I have ignored these calls...Its a marketing ploy...ignor these calls.

they called asking for my ex wife I divorced 25 years ago , with her new married name

The number is registered to J2 Global Communications in New York.  They are a provider of internet communications services.  Why they would be calling me is baffling, so I blocked them.

We got a call. Who are they?

Called my cell at 4:42 pm... it's from applying for a job through CareerBuilder.com.

They now have all my phone numbers, address, work history full name (from my resume) and they are sending me F****ng junk mail and calling all the time...

Unwanted solicitation

I got call from this # and stayed on the line waiting to speak to someone.  The person that got on the line said told me the name of the company was Career network.  They verify information for companies that are hiring.  That she would confirm the information I had provided and ask additional ones.  That the process would take about 45minutes, if I had that kind of time, which I didn't, so she asked me call when I had the time.  The place sounded like a call center.  I will call back, but if they ask very personal questions don't intent to provide them with it.

called at 1:10pm on 9/22...did not know caller id so I left go to voicemail...silence for about 5sec then hang up.

I didn't talk to them they just called my cell. I don't know anyone in that area code

Did they tell you what job they were collecting information about?! I've heard of these calls before - Phishing

Call from a bank of phone numbers owned by a company by the name of PAETEC COMMUNICATIONS, INC. - NY?!  Seems similar, of not the same, as some robo numbers phishing for information. Don't know who to trust!

I got a call saying it was a verification service for a job I had applied to. After listening to the recording for a few minutes a lady came on and verified some personal info that I apparently keyed in when applying for a job online.

3:47 eastern time, I got a call and a messaging not saying anything. A bit creepy but must be a telemarketing thing.

Called my cell at 2:02 eastern time. Left message without saying anything.

I got a call @ 9am this morning from this number, no message left.
