Ask them to send you details in the US Mail.  If they do not agree, they are more than likely a fraud.  They know about the penalties for mail fraud and won't send it.

Same here.  Been getting calls from these people all week.  Very thick india accents.  The last one claimed to be an Officer Cooper.  They won't give any pertinent information and only want yours.  I guess they think everyone is stupid enough to do this.  I'm blocking their number.  Good luck to all!

Received 7 calls from this number yesterday.  They proceed to tell me that I'm a suspect in fraud.  They claim to be a law group, but I did not give them the chance to finish.  I told them to stop harassing me and I am not falling for their lies.  As they continued to call me (after 7pm EST), I let my boyfriend answer the phone and my son too.  They insisted on calling.  I answered the phone the 6th time and told them what they were doing was wrong and they needed to find Jesus.  I told them that they were committing a sin and they needed to repent their sins.  I would be praying for them.  They called back one last time and they did not sound professional at all.  I believe I was getting to them (ha, ha).  So I let them listen to the background noise and would not answer their 'hello'.  I know this can be annoying but it is a scam!!!!  I have already talked to the FCA about these calls.  They use different numbers and most of the time these numbers are prepaid cells or phone lines through vonage or something companies similar.  The phone number that they called from was not an active number.  I would recommend either ignoring the calls or simply blocking the number.  If you are unable to do this, I would mess with them.  You can relieve some stress by poking fun at their dumb schemes.  I have also talked with a lawyer and nothing can be done unless they file something on your social security number.  They are trying hard to get money for nothing!!!   Hope this helps!

I've heard from them twice now and they tell me the same thing and that I need to have my lawyer call them.When I talked to them the first time they said they've left messages and mailed me 2 certified letters but I've never got the letters and the first phone call was the first time I've heard from them.  2nd call went to voice mail telling me the same thing.  Any help would be appreciated.

Left a message telling me that I was a suspect for fraud and that I needed to call them back at another number.....
