Repeated, harrasing calls.  how can we stop this?

Arrogant, fast-talking caller (not unlike that guy from the Sham Wow commercial) asks for you by name, then says he is calling for something like  the American Polysyllabic Firemen and Other Life-Savers Association of  Free-Lance Do-Gooders of Greater Outer Mongolia . Feeling sorry for this unemployed carnival barker who has not choice but to seek minimum-wage employment with such a disreputable conglomerate of fraud mongers, you politely say you already gave all you have to some other charity- and while you're talking he hangs up. Call back and the number is not working- except, of course, when they use it to aggravate YOU.  Caller ID says "AHG" which means nothing at all, and the phone company is too busy raising your rates to give a good flying **** about it.

Calls non stop and never leaves messages.  Called ID shows "AHG".  Calling them back on 718-676-7927 reports # as non working.
