THIS IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION!!!  I received this call about one of our employees and he talked about garnishing wages, etc.  I told him to send me everything in WRITING, he kept talking about company's responsibility, AGAIN I TOLD HIM TO SEND IN WRITING.....Heavy accent, stated he was calling from the Law Offices of Crosby & Assoc, which I believe is false.  NO COLLECTION COMPANY WILL CALL AN EMPLOYER REGARDING A GARNISHMENT ON AN EMPLOYEE......he got agitated and began verbal abuse and harrassing our company for almost 2 HOURS WITH NON STOP PHONE CALLS.  

WE HAD TO CALL THE POLICE AND FILE A COMPLAINT!  We also called our phone provider, with the complaint number, so that we can have the calls blocked.

AGAIN, DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION AT ALL.

Received call from heavy accent man, he wanted my fax number to inform my employer, refused to give it to him.  He insisted and told me I would be in big trouble if I didn't give him the number.  I refused.

Yes this guy keeps calling my job saying that he is goin to garnish my wages get me fired an i will be going to jail. He has false informatiom on me an it is scary, i am threaten daily by this eric stuart guy i just want him to stop calling

I just had the same thing happen.  Asked him to provide me documentation.  Said it was too late and that I am going to go to jail and have legal action if I don't pay him right now.  Got ahold of my boss and called her 50 times in a span of 10 minutes.  My company is blocking the number but this was very embarrising.

THIS GUY WITH A VERY HEAVY ACCENT CALL ME DEMANDING MONEY. TELLING ME THAT HE WAS CALLING FROM A LEGAL FIRM, HAD ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AND EVEN THE NAME OF MY WORK PLACE !!!!

Been calling for 3 days to my employer and my cell phone.....very rude and swearing at anyone who they talk to, even my 11 year old daughter....told her that her mom is going to jail for what she is doing, and she needs to pay up or my daughter will never see me again.....very scary....

I and my employer have been receiving these calls as well...It is tiring, and this is not the first time. names were Shawn Miller and Jason Young.  They even tried to "scare me into thinking they were going to garnish my wages and "download" the case with the attorney generals office....told them to do it....hope they do not call back.  The phone company says every time they call to push * 57 ( after 3 times they put a trace on the phone number) so if we all do this, maybe they will be stopped!

I have received the same call several times a day.  He says his name is Paul Pheonix.  I have learned to ignore the calls, but I'm getting VERY tired of them calling.

this person continues to call and harass me several times a day threatening to sue me. He has alot of personel information which is scary. he is a pain in my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tired of people with my information.

UPDATE -  He called again and again and again. I explained that the person he was looking for was not at this number and I hadn't seen him in months, he was a former employee. He started screaming at me that he was going to get me fired- I told him "bring it on because I work for a LAWYER and I'm sure he would love to investigate the company!"   he called about 4 more times, which I ignored - they haven't called back

Received a call asking for someone who used me as a reference for a cash advance loan! Foreign-sounding said his name was Jason Young and a lawsuit was being filed on this person and this person was supposed to call back for details.  I was going to call and tell them that they have the wrong number and person but,after reading these comments, I'm just going to DELETE it. I generally don't answer numbers that I don't know and this came thru on my phone as +0000.so no way was I answering it!

Hey Susan, these people are scammers who get private information from people after hacking an online application for a payday loan. The FBI and even the Secret Service are aware of these people but are unable to locate them (nor make it a big priority). They are an offshore operation who use prepaid phones. Once dialed these phones transfer to a another number that as far as I know have been untraceable. By the way, they change their numbers constantly and use different names and made-up or no longer existing companies constantly. You may not here from them for a couple of months and then they will just start calling again. The good news is there is nothing they can do with the information they collect. Using hacked information will result in their giving away their location. That is also why they only accept certain forms of payment. They will NEVER allow funds to be directly transferred to another bank or use any form of trackable payment information. They are heartless and ruthless, but totally powerless. They actually called someone working at the KS Attorney Generals office. They have a right up and warning about them, but it is listed under a previously used phone number. Hope this helps!

Oh yeah, some foreigner just called looking for one of my former employees.  I explained that I had talked to one of their reps earlier this morning and told him that employee no longer works here and would he please take my # off his list.  He began referring to me as an MFer (I'm a woman - impossible!!) and when I said Excuse me he repeated it.  I told him that this is a business phone and not to call here again to which he told me to F off and began calling me an MFer again.  I told him if I received any further calls I'd report the # to the FCC and hung up.  HE CALLED ME RIGHT BACK AND STARTED CALLING ME A FING RICH BTCH MFer AND THREATENING ME.  I hung up on him and immediately called my local PD.  WTH!??!??!  His # 718-684-9897.  Anyone know anything about this like who he is?

I received the same type of message.  How do you know they are out of Business?  He was real hard to understand on the message.  These people will not quit.  trying to fiqure out if they are legit.  I have a cousin  who is a lawyer considering contacting him.

He has called me at home and work, threatened to make me lose my job, said he works for the government and I will be put in jail as I owe money on a loan. Will not send anything in writing to prove this is my debt. I have notified the local PD and they say there is nothing they can do. He calls my work 60-100 times in an hour in a half each day, asks for my boss. He says he is with Crosby & Associates but they are no longer in business. (since 2005)

Foreign man wants me to fax him a letter with a copy of my Id stating that I will pay him money.  He has information about my identity.  States he works for a law firm but only wants a debit card or money gram.  Very harassing  On my debit card payment would should up as BYMT
