Just received "FREE $1000 GIFT CARD FROM WALMART". I had to think about it, because I just called the Walmart 877 number to check my account balance. But I would think Walmart would notify me of winning anything by mail.
So, this must be a scam!!

Its a scammer with a robo-dialer. His machine texts to every number in a selected area code and exchange, sending out several thousand texts in just a few minutes. Yes, he texts to land lines and fax machines and those texts don't go through. And most of the cell phones that get the text delete it. If just a few people get the text and fall for the scam he earns enough money to cover his costs with a little left over.

same message but different no. this spammer is using a lot of different no's. used no. 2143545281 in my message. one would think walmart would be all over this given the resources they must have at they're disposal

must be a scam as I did not enter any contests or anything.
