I received a call several attempt from 718-732-1020 or 052573584 to my work phone or cellphone. stating there from Dept. of Justice I need to get in contact with my attorney.

I received a call at work and this guy said his name was Sean Conner and that he was from the US Dept of Justice and It was a legal matter because of an illegal download. I knew it was a scam because they use to call another guy here at work. He said and I quote "you better call me back". I called back and the number didnt ring or anything. I googled the number and found this site. People need to get a freakin life.

THEY KEEP CALLING MY WORK BUT WILL NOT LEAVE ANY MESSAGE AND VERY RUDE TO WHOEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE

This guy, so named Peter Anderson, called asking for me to call them "right back" or my attorney of record (and I quote) about a time sensitive matter.  He telephone my work number on Friday and again Monday morning.  I have had this scammer call before and must say that this time the English is much better although the accent is the same. DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE BACK that only causes them to keep calling.  How they received my cell phone nu,ber to call me at home today (4/2/12) at 7:30am is beyond me!!  The number was blocked on my phone but they left a message.  My suggestion is to place any number like this in your cell phone and save it and choose, no ringer tone so that you never get bothered or just block the number.

HANG UP ON THEM - I had a little fun with a similar call months ago and when they told me they were from the California Law Center, I asked for their California BAR Association number and he said he was not going to give me that information, I told him that was because he was NOT in California nor a real attorney - he was angered and then I let him speak to the Dial Tone.

Again, these people are calling.  I can't believe that they haven't been shut down. All they do is say the same thing over and over.  These people are from India and are always using american names. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION AND JUST HANG UP ON THEM.  They are idiots.

OK, I just got a call from these idiots saying I owe $500 from a payday loan.  He actually said he was call from the Department of Justice.  He could barely speak English... stating that I was being taken to court along with my employer.  As i was speaking to him I was looking up the number and found this page.  After that i just asked him a series of questions that he couldn't answer.

Got a call from these people. Could not clearly understand what the person said (bad accent). Also, the number showing on CID is an invalid number: 052573584.  And if you call the number...(718), they never answer.

Once again these people are calling me about a payay loan that my wife had sopposely taken out. A man whos name is Peter Anderson said he was calling from the US Justice Dept. and needed me to send them $500 to keep my wife,and myself from going to court for failure to repay the loan. The only problem is that about 6-7 months ago the same heavy Indian accented man called saying his name was John Anderson and he worked for the US Criminal Investigation Dept.. I checked in on it and found out that it was a scam. When I told this man that I had checked in on this bill he said my wife owed, and found it to be a scam, he became very angry and began to call me everything but a white boy. I started laughing at him and he couldn't even talk or say anything that I could even understand. Be careful because this is also a scam.

Call & say they are from the US Justice Dept. & either me or my attorney needs to call them ASAP.  They can't even say my name correctly!  One person calling has a heavy Indian accent, today's(03/22/12) caller had a heavy Asian accent!  Who are they really?  I seriously doubt the US Dept. of Justice would call!
