There seems to be dozens of these MONEY70, PAY600, GIFT50 etc web sites sending spam SMS messages. They all seem to link to doublemypayday.com. Domain owner is:

I called them up and spoke with a person called Amy. She admitted that her company owns the web site doublemypayday.com. She stated that they do not directly send SMS messages from her company, it must be some affiliate of theirs that is doing non-compliant things. She did not want to admit a direct responsibility for the text message we all receive, but my argument was that they should be controlling their affiliates. She admitted that this is not something they want happening either as it damages their brand image.

She promised to investigate who is doing this, and NetTangerine would shut them down.

I promised to Amy that I will post this information on every complaint site I can get my hands on.

I suggest everybody gives a call to NetTangerine Inc Tel: (650)641-0184 and complains about the SMS messages. I'm sure the more calls they receive, the more motivated they are in finding out and shutting down which ever affiliate of theirs is doing this.

got an spam text on my phone from this number. My phone is register with the National Do Not Call Registry.

Just received a text from this number: "Shoppers: Make $100/day! Undercover shoppers needed to judge retail & dining establishments! No experience required.    Call 1-877-450-6614      Reply STOP to end"

I find it strange how this same number has had so many functions over the last year (gathered this from looking at the previous posts).
I did not reply "STOP," but I hope I don't get more texts.

Calls from this number 718-785-6454 at 10:00 at night 10 in a row when I answered and told them to take my number off of there list they started with txt.

I have been receiving unsolicited text messages from thisicompany. I did not subscribe nor do I wish to receive these. I have threatened to contact  do not cease immediately and remove me from your list I will contact the FCC, the Oregon State Attorney Generals Office, the Department of Consumer Affairs and any other agency applicable to your business practices. My phone, for purposes of removal from your records ONLY is: 503.960.6016.
This e-mail has been copied for documentation should the afforementioned complaints become necessary. I will not make this request again but will pursue every recourse available to make you desist.

Enom hosts them and I am currently contacting them to get this s*** stopped. I have been recieving 20 texts a day from them. I have continually asked to unsubscribe but it does no good.

It is a scam. You won't be approved and you will be required to give them an upfront fee to get the supposive loan. They will string you along, saying they need more upfront fees and you never get a loan or your fees back.
SO NOT RESPOND TO THE MESSAGES. Responding only validates your number on their end, making it more valuable to sell to other scammers.  
Just report it to your phone carrier and add web-based text message blocking to your service plan if it is offered.

I filed a complaint with the FCC, but I'd like to know how my number got out there and how to stop the spam text messages. This is second one this week.

www.pay600.com for $1500 loan.  Payday loan- not good and keep on coming.

This was from www.pay600.com for the $1500 loan at 6am in the morning. and alos one from US SuperLoan.com as www.usapday.com.

I got a couple of text message from this number so I texted back.  "You a$$hole.  Stop texting me about debt stuff.  A$$hole."  How anoying!  Let's see if it sends a text back.

I got a text from this number. It's a "Get cash fast" deal. Wierd.

01/04/2010 Just got an unsolicted text from this number, saying "You have been banned from the system" - clearly a phishing attempt. Why is it that the phone companies allow this kind of abuse? Aggravating doesn't BEGIN to describe it.

The phone number associated with these text messages is coming from New Jersey, but is being routed to a number in Carson City, Nevada.  The website is (www.money1500.com) is routing to another website (www.the-lending-house.com) and is registered through GoDaddy.com.  It is registered to RUM MARKETING Department.  Their contact information is below.  My best advise is to call the following number to ask them to stop and file a complaint at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
