First call from this number -- caller ID name read only "NEW YORK".    I didn't answer call and blocked number.   I did accidentally call the number back while blocking it and the response was "The number you have dialed is not in service".    Guess my windows won't get cleaned.

Just received a call from this number. Suspect it's the computer scam from India. Didn't answer.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

My wife's been getting daily calls at home saying our computer's been hacked and is full of viruses. They say they are from "Windows" and need to fix the computer. They just won't stop calling.

Got that indian who want to fix my computer wich is supposed to send corrupted data.  Calling from New-York.  I am from Montréal Canada.  Say No and hang-up

received call saying problem with micro soft windows  ...   lots of back ground noise ... I just hung up they have been calling for about a month now lots of people in our area

Got a call from this number today and caller ID said it was a payphone so I did not answer. I had just purchased online from a website for Flexcin and wondered if they had hacked my phone number from that. My paypal debit card was hacked Christmas 2012 after i ordered from Flexcin and my virus software says Flexcin's website is not secure even though Flexcin insists it is.

I received a call from guy with an Indian accent.  He told me I had malware and that he was contacted by "Windows".  I started to mess with him by acting interested.  He asked me to hit CRTL R to see the malware.  I told him it brought up a Youtube video of a cat playing with string.  After some more back and forth, he caught on and he got really PO'd.  He then alled me a motherFer.  Mission accomplished.  

Called about computer virus

I got the same call rfrom a payphone told me he was an IT tech and that I had a computer with windows I said no and hung up

I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number or name. This came up "pay phone" so I figured it was a scam of some sort. After all, when was the last time you actually saw a pay phone?! I love this website. Thank you for the service you provide.

I'm in the UK, and got a call from this number. Thankfully i was busy at the time. Have now blocked the number from my phone.

Another call to the Netherlands from this number. Did not pick up as I don't know anyone in the US. If companies want to call me they should leave voicemail so I can decide whether I want to call back or not. But obviously, this is a prank/scam call.

person claiming to be "John Smith" asked me for my name, then hung up. Number was spoofed. Return call ended up being a fax line.  Called me back again asking me if i was "my name" and I answered Yes, this is... who is this? hung up again.  Note to self, of they don't sound like American John Smith, they Nigerian scammers...

01734533443 rings at least 5 times per day and does not have any one there when phone is answered on most occasions

Am really fed up receiving these calls. Th cey come at all hours and wake us up through the night which isn't a pleasant experience. Why isn't BT sorting this for their customers? It amounts to criminal harrassment

just got a call from this number. Guy with a foreign accent mispronounced my name then hung up. I have an easy name so I figured it was a scam and now I see from the reports here that yes, it is a scam of some kind.

Too bad there's no category here for "scam" since that's what this likely was.

This # calling me now. Did not answer, no message as usual. Just frustrating that they call to try and scam you or infect your computer. Says it was from a pay phone!

I received a call from this number (1-718-788-9020), the person sounded to be of Indian or Pakistani origin, offering some promotional package on behalf of Bell Canada. I found out that he was collecting my personal information, which I denied to provide. He already knew my name and address-I don't know how? So be careful.

Call in the Netherlands in November '12: Guy from 'Microsoft in India' wanted to get access to our pc and sell us a solution to our so called 'pc problems'. We hang up just in time. We were called several times again in the weeks after.

Caller wanted to sell malware. Caller ID showed 'City of New York'.

Told he was a firm doing stuf for Brokers.
Just said qoodby.

Caller had Indian accent, said they were calling from Microsoft and that their server was receiving error reports from my computer.  Told them ''I didn't believe you,don't call back'' and hung up

some guy called told me that he had a pay day loan for me, told him that i wasnt intersted, then he asked if i wanted to suck his D***, what an a**

a guy call said he was from windows and that i needed to let him access my computer I intend on calling the number every day for at least 7 days is there anyone else i can contact to report him

I never pick up unknown numbers - which is why I love this site. Now I know not to call, or pick up. Received a call from this # today.

I am sick and tired of receiving these fraudulent phone calls. Why can't something be done about it ? If I don't recognize the phone number I don't answer, it is so annoying !!!!
