Call from this number went to voice mail. All I heard is 2 seconds of low hissing noise. Wouldn't think much about it, except I have been getting 2 or 3 of this type of call every day, for months, at all hours of day and night. Even when I answer rhe calls, all I hear is this low hissing sound.

Calling area codes are from all over the country. The phone number is different each time, so the phone company's blocking service is useless.

I have been getting harrassed via phone for the past few weeks. I knew from the jump it was a scam, and I told them as much whenever they call. I told them I've contacted the Michigan State Police and that I was keeping a record of each and every time they call me. They just try to talk over me and told me that they would call my main boss and let them know about the lawsuit and that the police were coming to my job. I'm not scared by far- but I'm annoyed beyond belief! These people are harassing folks and it seems as though there's nothing that can be done about it.

I got a call from 718-819-7285 and once I heard the accent, I knew they were the same scammers who called me last week from a different number. They said their company name is UNLD and asked me to hold so that they can put one of their attorneys on the line. I asked for their address and they pretended they didn't hear me by talking over my question, so I blurted out that I was tracing the call so that I could get their address. They immediately hung up on me. Wow. They keep calling me from a different number at least once a week and this has been happening since I applied for a pay day loan two months ago. It's annoying.

I was called today and was told I was being sued. I told him to call my lawyer. Have not heared from him sence.

received a call from 7188197285 - sam wilson/stating he is calling from some legal office/speaks very poor english/saying I owe cash net for a payday loan.  I don't have one with anyone by that name.  he stated that I should stay home tomorrow night because I will be arrested.  when I told him I knew this was a scam, he hung up on me.  I called back and he wanted to know why I hung up on him.  he then proceeded to tell me that I went to high school with him and we were married (really!!!!!?????).  he then proceeded with profanities and I ended up hanging up on him.  I have received several of these calls from different "people" who all sound the same.  it's a shame that good people are harrassed by idiots like them trying to make a buck.  they need to get a real job!!! and leave us alone.  It is scary, but once you realize what they are doing, you can usually end up making them so frustrated that they hang up and don't call back until they find another pre-paid cell phone to use.  it is scary at first, but if you don't let them intimidate them, they will move on to someone else, which is a shame, but there probably isn't any way to really stop them.

These people have called me WAY to Many times, even at work.  They know my name (well they think they do, their employees are uneducated so they cant pronounce things well), they know my social where I work, and my address (although its not complete).  I keep have messages left, threatening to come to my home or work, stating I have committed check fraud (I do NOT write checks, EVER!!!)  call from one number ask me to call back on another.  When you call back its an answering machine, I actually answered the call today ready to state the Federal Trade Commission Fair debt Collection Practice Act, and telling them IF I really owe them money they MUST send me a Debt Validation letter, it must contain the original companies name address and phone number, the type of debt I owe/what its for, and when the debt originated, BUT when I answered all I got was a strange 10 sec of noise and a dead line.  I have reported them to the Federal Trade Commission, you can do this on their web site.  Yesterday they said they were coming today between 11 and 11:30am to my home or work, its now 3:45pm, they called about 20 min ago.  This Needs to be stopped the Govt needs to get involved as there are elderly and poor people, who because they are scared, will give their card number over the phone, and THIS will give them total access to your account!!!

have also recieved calls from this azz hole but just call the company you took a payday loan from and they will verify you don't owe money and they will also hook you up with their fraud department and  take the information from you.do not let these people get to you.

I have also received messages from this man. I put a password on my account, as well as, changing my banking account numbers. They did not have my full social security number, but did have the last four digits. I have yet to call them back. I did receive calls about a year ago claiming the same thing; however, since I am in the military I can not receive a pay day loan as he was claiming. I called the FBI, and reported the caller. They told me it is a Nigerian fraud ring. They sell the information that they have gleaned to other fraud rings for a lot of money. My advice to everyone is contact the local authorities, change your bank account numbers, put a password on your accounts, and call the credit bureaus to report these instances. That way these people will receive nothing as far a money. I have found if you do not answer these calls, they tend to stop calling quicker than if you do.

Yes.. I received a call of this nature as well.  Claiming to have a lawwuit on my SS#.

They claimed their website is UNLD.net, however, when I googled that website didn't exist. They claim they are at 205 Northern Rd, NY, however, when I looked up the phone directory for the contact # associated with that address, the person who answered the phone doesn't know anything about UNLD and they don't know anyone at the contact # 718-819-7285. Completely shady that they gave me a fake address and a fake website. I refuse to give my hard earned money to a random person who calls me that I can't verify who they are, I can't trace the validity of the money that I "supposedly" owe them. They need to tell me the name of the client and the client has to be an actual debt that I owe. This is a total scam.

These peopel keep calling me back to back stating they are with Us legal Investigation. Wanting my email birthdate and email password. I told him now and he will not stop calling! What do i do??

This guy has been calling me for the last week and I finally answered today. He was threatening me and even told me my social security number. Why aren't authorities doing anything. This guy threatens people and has our addresses, social security numbers, and phone numbers. It's dangerous not only for the chance of him stealing our identities but also knowing where we live. Something should be done!!!

message stated "This is you worst nightmare" if i do not reply to "Mike Watson" a legal representative from a collection agency "unknown name source" .  The caller stated the last four digits of my social security number and threatened action against my SS number.The Social security Administration/Fraud investigation bureau  needs to act quickly to extinguish the obvious fraud which seems to be the case here????

i got  a call from this number as well at first he called and left a message talking about i was gonna be sued then he called me today saying that i owe money to sum cash net i dont know who the hell that is i told him well im gonna call a lawyer i then ask him wen did i get this loan he said in dec or jan of this year i then told him bull s*** cuz i just got this number he had the last four numbers of my account number i said if u f*** with my account i would sue u. im getting ready to call the police in new york because this need to be stop now they said there company was unlv and thats a college

i just receive a call from this number.asking for the last 4 numbers of my social number. i could not hardly understand cause he (the person who called) had a funny accent.  he said that i owe money to someone, so i told him send me papers. he called on second call i told him not to call again cause i will have the number traced and report.  he was trying to tell me i owed money to someone.

Well this guy is on a roll again!! He has called saying Im going to jail for fraud not paying a loan back etc. Hes putting something against my ss number,I told him I didnt have any money and hung up. He called back left a message on my phone to call David Cooper at this number. He has been calling for 3 months or better always using different names.He has a heavy accent and you can tell he is reading his message.I have a list of 10 numbers all different but on the scam list.When will this end? My husband answered told him I was not home, he called back to back 16 times.Just tell him to bring on the Police bring on the papers!!  BEWARE OF SCAM!!

I am so sick of this nonsense.  This is a new number and it shows up as New York City, so I just picked up the phone on the second ring.  I had hit the mute button on my TV, so I never said a word.  I just waited until they disconnected the call on their end.  Maybe they'll think my number is not in operation. Ha.  I had received a message on my answering machine earlier today from 305-814-0823 and I looked it up on here.  Seems to be the same kind of scam.  The message came from someone with a heavy foreign accent with major background noise (like a bus terminal).  (It said BLOOMINGTON IL on the screen and I don't know anyone there).  The message left on my answering was almost unintelligible, but what I did get was:  "My name is Barry Jones [yeah, right] and it is important that you or your attorney of record return this call the very second you get it.  Call 309-200-0536."  (Similiar notes appear under that number when I looked it up). "If you and your attorney disregard this call and fail to return it immediately, you will be in deep legal trouble."  That number had called earlier while I was out and did not leave a message.  So I came here to report it, and now I will go to my phone service provider and have this number blocked.  Sure am getting tired of this nonsense -- I have entered over twenty numbers to be blocked so far this spring..  With all the laws and regulations in existence, isn't there something that covers this?  Any legitimate lawyers reading this who care to share some sound advice?  No pranks or scams, please!

This idiot just started calling today.  First of all I couldn't understand his language and secondly he tried to verify my address even after I told him he had the wrong number.  After asking several time to repeat the business, I simply hung up.  But I was able to catch that the person he was looking for was under federal investigation.and I believe he was reading my address to me.  Why would he be so stupid as to give tell me what he was calling about when I'm not the person he's looking.  Because he's scamming and he knows he can't be traced unless an actual investigation was performed.

This is the third time i have had to report this number and the threats they have said to me in regard to law suits, by a heavy indian accent. Scam artist are everywhere now and they have personal information they shouldn't. Have your identity protected, I did.

I also had a phone call from another number and I will like to give the number here so if you get a call from this one , WARNING THIS NUMBER WILL BE TURNED OVER TO THE NUMBER LISTED HERE, OBOVE ,  866-894-3382 was my first call and stating I had a 120 day payday loan that I negelated to pay and is now being turned over to the courts, he e-mailed me a letter of a sort with my name on it but the SSN and drivers license was not mine and I tryed to tell him I have no out standing payday loan threw cashnet.com and he was demanding me to settle to keep it from being turned over for a law suit I tryed everything to tell him it's not me , all he wanted was me to pay the sum of $254.00 to settle this and everything would be drop and my name cleared. the loan he said I neglated to pay was $ 352.00 I argued with him 2 days this is not me and that I have attorney he needs to settle this with them and he wouldn't go for it and also he wouldn't give me an address of him. and then he told me he was moving and not to call his number cause he wouldn't be there to answer, and he gave me the number of 718-819-7285 so I called it and answer machine recording said it was crimes and investigation, but never an answer.. I am with you all these people need to be stop , I am not afraid to say I was dang worried and stress for days over this cause of idenity theft these days and all the scam you just can't trust anyone .. I pray they all get caught and sent to prison and if they got funds from anyone they have to work and pay every cent back to there victims.. thanks for reading but I back you all up here they need punish for this crime they are doing to others..plus I would love to meet them and give my peace of mind of what i was put threw ..

these people keep calling and wont leave a message when i call the number back they dont answer. these kind of people need to be stopped.

i was called today and told the same thing to everyone here and given many names i told him my husband is a FBI agent which is true and that i will be tracking him down since he called on a federal line he hung up ASAP

Every three months I get a call from them and he tells me I am going to jail. He today he was a cop. He wants money and tells me I owe him. I have never taken out a pay day loan he is a rude jerk. By him I have several warrents and the police are on their way here.

i had the same issue with these people calling. its a scam they harrased me for weeks. so far i havent heard from them after a cusing match with them. it started over a online payday advance that i never applied for. they call me and said there was  a payday advance that was never repaid and that they were going to sue. i checked all my account there were no deposits and finaly i said lets take it to court. after that the person on the phone treatened my employer and my wife. i would love to meet this person. because my actions will speak louder.

same problem as everyone else except when this man with the heavy accent called my fiance and got mad cuz she said he was harassing her he started talking dirty to her over the phone and said he was going to put his you know up her you know what.  So she stopped taking this persons calls so a voicemail was left and he really got very descriptive about what he wanted to do to her when he met her.  Now I have to keep the gun out just in case this guy is serious.  Been trying to find an address or someway to figure how to get the cops to take this as a serious threat.  cant do anything about it if you cant find the person

I just got a second call from this number (Actually the first call last week was from 877-228-2338) from a guy with a really thick accent telling me that my friend had commited internet fraud by taking out a loan and didn't pay it back. They were calling me because the said friend had used me as a reference. After this the guy said he was handing me over to his manager, but it sounded like the same guy.

They told me to have my friend call "Jeff" at the 718-819-7285 number. I asked "You got a last name Jeff?" And he got angry and started telling me that if my friend didn't settle this matter we'd both have to appear in court.

This man has called my place of business asking for another employee weekly/daily for the last few months.  I screen all calls and inform him every time that we do not accept personal phone calls at work.  This person (I don't think he qualifies as a man) decided today when I told him again to put this number on the do not call list to actually cuss at me.  Saying F**k you.  I almost laughed.  It was like he googled how to cuss in English!!!  Then he called me a F****ing B***h.  I had to put it on speaker phone for the rest of my coworkers to get a great laugh!!!!  Regardless, this person has, in past calls, given me the Kansas City Police Department address as thiers.  I googled it and then called them back to double check the address.  When I asked why they are giving me the police department's address, he said they were a part of law enforcement.  I decided to then CALL the Kansas City Police Dept. and talked with an officer.  I gave the number and when he called to verify their address, they stated they don't give out that information. (Gotta love the fact they have caller id!)  Regardless, these people are scammers and will not stop!  I have filed a complaint with the FTC and will again file another complaint.
