They said they were a "locate" company and then asked if I knew a Owen Bowles. What are they doing? Calling everyone with the same last name? They also record the calls without telling you they are. When I said that I could hear the beeps and they were supposed to tell a person they were recording the call, he told me the beeps are what tell a person it is being recorded. He wasn't rude at all, just asked if I knew Owen. Hate to be him when they finally find him. They called day and night! Use *67, call them back and have your number removed. I told them I was on the do not call registry and he told me they have a right to contact me, well now they don't.

I believe it is harassment if they continue to contact you and you tell them that you don't have anyone by the name they are looking for...if they continue, it is absolutely considered harassment and you should report them

They might be looking for a relative, it's a third party vendor hired by someone to locate someone that you might be related to that they are trying to contact.

HP Locate?  Locating service hired by a third party vendor to locate people...Who knows but it was not a solicitation call and the lady was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience.

some type of private investigation , HP Locate...a recording. I don't owe anybody nothing. No bill collectors. I don't have any credit....They just keep on calling, with a recording.
